Pros:

Lovley place and location. Perfect place to stay, done up to a nice standard.

Cons:

Only pointer would be a hot tub& pool area to match the quality of the rest of the hotel.

Pros:

Location was good, right on Rutland Water with stunning views.

Cons:

I should have read up on the hotel facilities better. However, it felt like being at University, with accommodation blocks and then the restaurant/bar/function room in another block. Very steep steps or slope to access the restaurant block. The
lift was out of order. There was the option of a mini cart to take you around the property Don't know how this works with booking etc. as didn't use.

Location, size of the grounds, views, breakfast

It may be it was out of season but rental bikes weren’t available, parts of the hotel showed signs of needing a little TLC

Lovely views from our room over Rutland water. Our meal in the restaurant was very nice. Enjoyed the pool too.
Pros:

Lovely old house where reception was located. A few rooms available here. We stayed in a block behind this.

Cons:

In lovely weather it is fine to walk between reception, your accommodation and breakfast venue. Not so in inclement weather.
