The room was very good. Had an AC. Bathroom was very neat.

Good value for money hotel for a short stay in Tellicherry, and an excellent host
Pros:

The rooms are basic but as advertised and thankfully had a fully functional a/c and clean, comfy beds. For the needs of a traveller passing through this small town and staying for a night or two, the hotel is a really good choice, offering excellent value for money. The owner, Mr. Bashir, is a real gentleman, offering to help and generous with his time. When he found out that I was interested in the history of the town, he took me for a short walk around the heritage area in the morning, telling interesting stories of the streets and old British warehouses. The hotel doesn't offer any food, but there are plenty of places within walking distance that a guest can use. The hotel has a caretaker who is present 24hrs at the location for security. The location of the property is great, a very short walk takes you to the promenade, and the Tellicherry Fort, the fish market, the old market etc are all within easy walking distance.

Cons:

The hotel access is through a side street which may put off some people, but the area felt safe for me.
