Lovely friendly and comfortable place to stay on the lake
Pros:

Lovely staff and very friendly vibe at Paradise Palms. We stayed a week and felt like part of the community! The newer cabins are pretty nice and have everything you need- except not all of them had an outside shade area or table and chairs to sit at. The walk along the lake to town is gorgeous and the bbq area, pool and jetty are a lovely area to sit and enjoy the quiet and beautiful surrounds.

Cons:

small bedroom and bed for someone who is large or a couple.

I am glad I went on my trip and staying at this place made it possible. I liked the water and birds.

The first cabin did not look inviting at all. Its door jammed too. I was given another cabin, which was better.

Lovely spot but will never stay again due to clientele.
Pros:

Location was lovely and close to everything we needed to access.
The staff were helpful and apologetic about our experience.

Cons:

The clientele at the park (I’m assuming long term resident).
We caught someone letting down our car tyres. When we confronted them they said he was management for the park and we were parked illegally (there was no parking next to our cabin as it was taken by a pile of mulch on one side and a caravan and someone else’s car on the other - in cabin 10).
We were parked alongside a fence and definitely not blocking access to anything.
He said we were going to be fined and to move our car immediately. We did, however, it caused damage to our tyre as it was driven out with flat. Questioned park manager in the morning and he assured us it was not anyone who worked there.
The park refunded our accomodation cost and were very apologetic.
Not entirely their fault but probably could have been avoided had there been the parking available that was advertised. Be wary of the residents if you intend to stay here.

We got lucky with the view but that’s where it ended.
Pros:

We had amazing water views

Cons:

The property was cramped and the cabins a big tired. Also our verandah overlooked a bbq area which filled up with other tenants which restricted our privacy

Pacific Palms weekend
Pros:

Close to the pool and lake. Really helpful staff. Someone was parked in my space and no parking was available so I was delayed unpacking and missed an event I was planning to attend. The office staff came down to find out who had put their trailer in my space and kindly asked them to move. They did not move for a long time . It was not the fault of the staff.
Good value for 2 separate bedrooms.

Cons:

The microwave was filthy inside. The rest of the cabin was very clean .
The lighting was a bit grim and the artwork made it look faded and sad.
The cupboards with crockery were too high to reach without standing on our eskie . This is a risk.
There were lipstick traces on the wine glass.
The fridge was missing parts and did not have a holder to keep bottles and milk cartons standing .

The pictures of the reservation didn't match the booking I paid extra to have a view of the lake and there is definitely no lake view also parking facilities aren't very well thought out
