Очень чисто, стильный интерьер, уютный ресторан, где проходят завтраки. Завтраки вкусные. Вечером предлагают бесплатно вино, кофе, чай. Расположение хорошее, на тихой улице, но в пешей доступности от главной торговой улицы.

Muito boa qualidade-preço e localização, voltaria a reservar
Pros:

O hotel fica numa zona tranquila da cidade mas central. Os funcionários eram muito simpáticos e o quarto confortável com tudo o que é necessário para uma boa estadia

O facto de não haver luz natural, já sabíamos que seria assim por privacidade e estava referido na descrição.

Gostei bastante do quarto. Grande para os padrões japoneses. Estranhei o café da manhã, era agendado . E tinhamos duas opções de prato para escolher. Achei estranho que não tinha nenhum tipo de queijo disponivel no café da manhã. Fora isso, indico esse hotel, com certeza! Tem um lanchinho disponível a tarde também , e os biscoitos são maravilhosos!

Straightforward Comfortable Hotel, Not so Great Customer Service
Pros:

Small hotel, well designed rooms. The bathroom and the king size bed were really comfortable, the pajamas provided were also very nice. The bed was made every day, towels were changed and they provided a good amount of towels for various purposes. They provided free drinks and snacks in the lounge area which was a nice touch.

Cons:

The room didn't really get much light and the only laundry machine in the hotel broke while we stayed there. They said it was repaired after a day but it wasn't, it remained out of order our whole stay. Unfortunately as a couple traveling from overseas for a long period of time and relying on hotel facilities, this made our life quite difficult.
I had also called before our stay to ask if they could help me make a reservation in Kyoto (as it can be very difficult without speaking japanese) but was told that we had to check in first for them to help. I would have expected a more attentive customer service.

Pros:

We were very pleased with our stay at THE GENERAL KYOTO Bukkouji Shinmachi!
The interior was beautifully designed, the breakfast was very tasty with fresh ingredients, the hotel provides drinks in the lounge between 4-10pm for free, the location is great close to restaurants, shops, and metro station.
We would definitely go back! Highly recommend!
