AVOID THIS PROPERTY!
Pros:

Extremely unfair treatment of guests.

My experience with this accommodation in Cologne was absolutely unacceptable.

The property demanded that I pay in cash in euros. Upon arriving in Cologne, I discovered that the currency exchange offices were closed, and I could not obtain the cash required. Instead of offering a reasonable solution or allowing me to pay by card, I was left in an extremely stressful situation and forced to find alternative accommodation at short notice.

The most outrageous part is that money was also charged to my bank card, and I am now facing a penalty for allegedly failing to show up. I am disputing these charges and demanding a proper investigation.

How can a property demand cash, make payment difficult, charge a guest’s card, and then penalize that same guest? This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the property’s payment practices.

Cons:

I am a loyal Booking.com customer with a clean booking history. I have never expected to be treated this way by a property listed on a platform I trusted. Instead of a fair solution, I am left fighting to protect my money and prove that I did not simply refuse to pay.

I consider this treatment deeply dishonest and believe it warrants a thorough investigation by Booking.com and the relevant consumer protection authorities.

My advice to future guests: be extremely cautious. Confirm every payment condition in writing before making a reservation, and keep screenshots of all communications. Do not assume that the property will offer a reasonable solution if a payment problem arises.

I expect the disputed charges and penalty to be reviewed and resolved fairly. Until this situation is addressed, I cannot recommend this property to anyone.

Badezimmer war gut.

Cons:

Laut App sollte man mit Kreditkarte bezahlen. Im Hotel angekommen hieß es dann es geht nur mit Bargeld. Ein Glück hatten wir genug dabei, was aber in der heutigen Zeit nicht immer der Fall wäre. Die Info vorab wäre gut gewesen.

Zimmer im OG, Dachschräge mit Fenster und Gardinen, sodass man dies nicht abdunkeln konnte. Eher ungünstig.

Das Zimmer war okay, auf das Frühstück sollte man lieber verzichten.
Cons:

Das Frühstück war zwar sehr preiswert, aber 5 Tage immer den genau gleichen Aufschnitt,
kalte gekochte Eier, die innen blau waren.

Hatte eine ruhige Übernachtung in der Nähe U-Bahn Station Ebertplatz. . Schöne alte un restaurierte Häuser im Umfeld des Hotels . Kaffekocher vorhanden. Restaurants und Geschäfte in der Nähe.

Pros:

Hotellet är relativt nytt,det mesta inom promenadavstånd,bra pris,rent och rummet städades varje dag. Rummet kändes lite för litet men om man bara skall sova där så funkar det. Rekommenderar dock hotellet

Cons:

Allt var ok förutom en underlig detalj att det inte gick att betala med kort utan det var endast kontantbetalning. Jag ifrågasatte detta och fick till svar att kortläsaren var trasig och skulle repareras dagen efter fast enligt andra recensioner här om hotellet så har läsaren varit trasig länge. Jag lämnade dock ingen ytterligare kommentar.
