WiFi was spotty air-conditioning was noisy no hot water and kitchen had a brakedown so no food,we had to travel 20min to closest place to get dinner

Not much internet access

We didn’t receive a particularly warm welcome. The young woman behind the bar was on the phone and kept us and another couple waiting to check in waiting for some time without even a smile or a word to acknowledge we were there. In fact she just turned her back on us.
We then made payment for the pre-booked room. I immediately realised we had been charged $100 instead of the $92.73 for "genius" discount. I pointed this out but was told the matter would need to be referred to the owner. I heard nothing and the hotel part was all locked up when we left in the morning. I had no response at all from messages I sent to the property via the Booking app. It took three phone calls before I finally received the refund. Not happy
Several long dark hairs on the bathroom floor were certainly not from us, and the room itself has definitely seen better days.
Neither of us slept well as it wasn’t possible to stop the light from the security lights outside from shining under the curtains, plus road noise is pretty bad with trucks passing by even in the small hours.
Oh, and one other thing, the smoke detector was taped over.
