The setting, the room
The lounge and bar service felt disorganized and inconsistent. A member of staff placed glasses in front of us and then seemingly disappeared—we suspect a shift change with little to no handover. As a result, we were overlooked while other guests were served around us. Even after politely reminding the staff, it took another five minutes for the bottle to arrive, making for a total wait of over 30 minutes.

The Hotel was nice, also luminated at night. Very dog friendly, especially with a room at the end of the building with the direct access to the vineyards.
I guess it is one oft the best possibilities to visit the famous places in Pomerol and Saint Emilion area. Even by bike.
Nice renovation, and nice work with colors.
Difficult to explain and to be fair. A lot of small things compared to the other places I stayed before. I was not 100 % lucky with the restaurant, very nice presentation on the plate, but product quality could have been better (e.g. tough meat). I also don t think that hotel slippers should be allowed in the restaurant. The reception desk could possibly be handled a bit more professional.
Room was beyond expectations. View of vineyards stunning and amenities were first class. Food and wine selection lovely as was breakfast.
Felt front desk were a little rude on arrival. Though it wasn’t a problem, I didn’t expect to have any extra payment put on hold in my bank account and total bill was more than anticipated, but when checking-in the woman who served us was a little condescending and not very forthcoming about the process. Not a positive welcome to the hotel. Also taxi (booked by hotel) to and from airport were wildly different in price and again we felt like we were sort of meant to accept whatever we had to pay without any questions. Other than this the hotel is stunning and I highly recommend

Être réveillés très tôt le matin et 2 jours de suite par les travaux de tonte de la pelouse (cela pourrait être certainement programmé à un autre moment de la journée) et par les travaux dans les vignes ( cela est peut être moins facile à modifier, mais les travaux ont commencé du côté de l’établissement et ont duré 2 heures- donc inverser les passages de l’engin ….)
