De verzorgdheid van de accommodatie, de rust en stilte binnenin het appartement, het personeel dat steeds zo snel mogelijk, zo goed mogelijk probeerde te helpen. Een voorbeeld: het toilet bleef lichtjes doorlopen, ik meldde dit aan de receptie en de volgende dag was het probleem al verholpen.
The staff are v friendly n always responsive. I arrived late n was upgraded to a larger apartment, which is comfortably spacious. So is the compound, well kept n green. Although far from city center but walkable to a metro station.

классное место для длительного прибывания в Китае. Как дома. В номере есть абсолютно все. Стриралка. Посуда. Большие светлые номера. Убираются регулярно. Территория зеленая. До метро пешком 10-12 минут. Хотели здесь остаться на 3-4 дня, чтоб подискать квартиру, а остались почти на год. Очень все нравится. Комфортно. Как будто живешь не в отели, а дома.
Мы переживали что на букинг было мало отзывов, но все равно решили забронировать и не пожалели. Правда очень просторные и чистые апартаменты с вежливым персоналом. Один из немногих вариантов в Шанхае с таким сервисом. Наша поездка прошла отлично, спасибо этому месту!

Everything exactly as described. I especially liked that almost no noise intruded into the apartment. Walking distance (10-15 minutes) from metro station Shujian Road on Line 15.
For me personally not a minus but the apartment is situated in a sleeping district. So no wide range of shops or restaurants available in the immediate vicinity.
Five star apartments, perfect location between work and city life. Extremely safe and comfortable, and the staff are amazing!
I only missed a pool, but everything else is there including brand new gym.

I’ve lived here for nearly two months, and the housekeeping and other property staff have been excellent and professional. However, my check-in experience left me with a poor impression of the front desk.
At first, they assigned me to a unit on the 19th floor with a damp enclosed terrace (not the balcony). The room had a strong musty smell, even though other identical, odor-free units were available. After another hour of back-and-forth, I was finally moved to a normal room without the strange terrace or smell. I later noticed that only that floor had such damp terrace units. So they allocated me to a very unpleasant type of room which you can ONLY find on a certain floor. Yes, they did that.
Perhaps I looked tired and not well-dressed after arriving from the airport, but the front desk’s people skills still felt unprofessional. I had expected an international brand to offer consistently high service standards worldwide, yet I still encountered the disappointing local habit of judging people by appearances.
我在这里住了接近2个月，保洁和物业的工作人员都很棒，也很专业。但是入住的时候发生的事情让我对前台的人员印象不太好。事情是这样的，我入住的时候前台一个妆感很浓的工作人员把我安排到了19楼带一个房型内潮湿露台的房子（不是阳台），一打开门一股强烈的霉味，可是明明有其他不带这种室内露台又没有气味的同样房型可以安排。于是我又下楼和他们反馈，周折了又一小时住到了“正常的”，没有“奇怪露台”，也没有强烈霉味的房间。我之后观察到，也只有在那个特定的楼层，才会有那种带套内潮湿露台的房间。为什么有的人心思可以这样坏，既为难了客人又让你自己的同事后续到我这边跟进换房，让除了你之外的所有人浪费时间，给所有人添加麻烦。
我想也许是我办理入住的时候从机场过来很疲倦，也没有穿戴得很好，但是总之，这位前台的态度和安排让我感到非常不适。因为同样的房型明明可以不必安排到最差的那种带室内平台的。我以为选择国际化品牌的公寓，服务和素质也会是全球统一的，依旧没有避免套路和令人不适的看人下菜。
总之整体都很好，除了第一天办理入住的这个女工作人员。前台后期派来的帮我调整wifi的其他女士也很热情，让我感到温暖。
A great-value stay; gym, common room, garden and pond area were a great perk and well-kept. The apartment itself was well-equipped with cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Well-furnished with good quality electrical appliances. A 3-minute taxi ride to the nearest subway station. Would definitely stay here again as it was so comfortable!
During our entire 3 month stay, our neighbour stored several large boxes outside our door which made entering and exiting the apartment inconvenient. We reminded management four times that this is a fire hazard; nobody knew the contents of the boxes and they were blocking our only access to the fire escape (we were on floor 13 so if the boxes caught fire, we would have no access to a safe exit point). Despite complaining several times, the boxes were never removed and instead the pile continued to grow. This would have caused the premises to fail a fire inspection. Such a shame that management ignored the severity of this problem so we felt the need to add this to our review. If it had been dealt with, it would not have affected our memory of the property, which was otherwise fantastic.
I have been to most of European countries, America, Africa, and Middle East and never had experienced such an outstanding Customer Care that I have received from Somerset Star River, from the manager and the other members of the staff.. My travel was like going from home to home. They all treat you as their guest and their friend

This is an excellent place to stay if you are staying for a while in Shanghai. Very easy to get into downtime Shanghai by metro or Didi. The apartment is very comfortable and the staff are very helpful. Our son stayed here for a term whilst studying at JT Uni and we couldn't have been happier.
