The location is great and very convenient to both the beach and 5th avenue. I like the staff as well. Shay was particularly helpful in making plans.

The roof terrace and private pool was great.
Basic things missing such as salt and peber and dish washing soap etc. the house was totally stripped for things. What we really lacked during our stay was a drying rack for swim clothes and towels. Also the deck chairs by the pool lacked the cushions that the neighbors had.
Overall the flat had a feel of dated luxury.

Lock in patio does not work, asked host to take care of multiple times, initially he said he will send someone then nothing happened and he stopped responding to my concern. So basically not secure at all, one morning when I opened patio door, gardener was standing there. He must have climbed from outside. So if he can climb, then others can climb too. Even though we had two bathrooms we all used one to take shower. Water pressure is horrible in showers.
The lay out of the apartment is excellent and the personal and shared pool on the roof top was great.
The main issue we had was the AC that when in use gave out this pungent musty odor throughout the house, to the point of having to sleep without the AC to avoid smelling this before going to bed.
The view from the roof top pool was exceptionally beautiful. Really nice people staying in the complex.
All staff that we met were extremely nice, except the one person at check in who did not have the most inviting/happy personality. He did help us check in and all was well.

The location in town was wonderful. The staff was friendly and super helpful. The infinity pool was amazing. Our 3rd floor condo with little private pool was really great. Access to beach was perfect. Great restaurants and a very close grocery store.
Kitchen was not great. No papertowels or any other kitchen towels. Inadequate waste removal. The key/lock/entry to our unit was super frustrating, we had to get our keys related at least every other time. Even tho we were super careful to not let them sit next to anything to demagnetize them.
Location and price
We booked as a family with two children, it was stated that there were two pools, however when we arrive we were informed that we could only use one pool. The pool that we were allowed to use was only 50% filled up with water, and it was not clean. After two pool days, our swimsuits actually turned green, which we have never experience before at any hotel in the world.
The AC was extremely noisy in the room, the staff at the front desk was not very helpful, the first day, the guy at the desk kept saying "I did not check you in, so I can't help you".
The location.the property. I love everything and I would stay again and again my kids love the location.
The beds were very comfortable. The refrigeration worked well. It is super-close to the beach and at walking distance from restaurants and taxis. There are several pools in the property. Nice selection of TV apps.

The location of this property could not be better. Close to everything and right on the beach approach. The infinity roof top pool has unbelievable views.
We did not have any complaints. It can be a little loud at times from the restaurants and some may not like this but it ends at a reasonable hour and while we enjoyed listening to the music from the balcony some may not enjoy this. The music usually was done by 10 pm though.
Excellent location as Calle 38 is the best street in Playa Del Carmen. The roof top pool was a great place to hang out at , as the beach was almost gone or covered with seaweed.
The building is getting a little old and some suites are good and some not so good. There was a lack of basic supplies such as, frying pan, toaster, dish rack, dish towels, sink stopper, broom etc. Jorge was good at providing most of the things we needed but I think it should have been fully supplied as we were there for 6 weeks. Also the furniture is not very comfortable. Don't book thru Booking.com as it was very expensive compared to other ways of booking.
Totally nice hotel with wonderful pool area. The small street is really nice and has loads of nice restaurants without the real touristy feeling found on 5th avenue.
The public beach right in front of the hotel is really tiny, but you can walk 700-800 meters to the big public beach.
