Good overnight at Parapat
Pros:

Location is good. There’s a swimming pool across the road where you can view the lake. Good vibes having the breakfast there but the late morning sun can be quite strong and ‘burning’. The staffs were helpful enough to bring our breakfast out to the pool.
The room is huge and clean.

Cons:

There’s a school behind the hotel, and it’s session starts at 6am (I think), so expected the surprise morning noises of children and loud speakers to wake you up.
The rooms are a little dated, but they’re clean anyways.

Pros:

Location is good in relation to both sides of Parapat, nice view over the lake, friendly staff, 2 pools, 1 with a great view on the lake, breakfast is included with good Indonesian food and skne other choices aswell.

Cons:

We had a standard room looking out on the rock next to the hotel. Under our window there was terrible loud noice at 5.30-6.00 am unloading a truck. We wondered why the hotel rven gives pit these standard rooms
And after that around 6.30 the incoming and upstarting staff was shouting, laughing really loud also n the hallway along our room and playing around with the sound system in the hotel somewhere. Not very considerate to the guests who are on vacation and are not awake at that time for work.

The swimming pool

Cons:

The car park is very steep and very dangerous so we have to be very careful each time coming to the hotel. Also the room is very old and you can see the wall start to peel off and the toilet very old and dirty.

Pros:

Nice sunset view. Enjoyed the food and music in the lower floor restaurant.

Cons:

Air conditioner leaked on my wife’s open suitcase. They did launder the wet clothes and fixed the leak quickly.

At 8:00 AM most of the breakfast buffet food was gone.

Avoid this hotel. The room we were given was full of mold on the walls.

Cons:

The rooms were disgusting and full of mold on the walls. We asked to change rooms but none were available. We had to change hotels. It was not safe to stay here. I would avoid this hotel.

Pros:

1. The bed so comfort. I like it.
2. Very good breakfast. Choice of asia
3. Have aircond
4. Complete aminities for bathroom

Cons:

1. The water heater sometimes run out the hot water. But if you wait little while, you will get ypur hot bath again.
2. Not soundproof room as you can clearly heard your neighbour voice.
