The Quale Villa

I stayed a little over a week and used the villa as a perfect base to explore the surrounding areas, including Weligama and Hiriketiya. I also went surfing in Galle, which was ideal thanks to the very beginner-friendly waves and the wonderfully open, fun, and welcoming local surf community. The team at the villa is exceptional and genuinely goes far beyond expectations. They are consistently warm, attentive, and proactive, helping to organise scooters, tuk-tuks, or taxis whenever needed, and sharing thoughtful local tips that make everything feel effortless and well cared for. Breakfast was excellent and varied, with beautifully prepared options including delicate, typical Sri Lankan dishes. The rooms are very spacious, well equipped, and offer beautiful morning views, making sunrise a daily highlight. The property itself is thoughtfully designed and slightly tucked away, creating a rare sense of peace and calm while remaining close to beaches and town, so getting around is easy.

À 15 min de Tuk Tuk de la ville de Galle mais dans la nature. Face à la piscine à débordement… les rizières et un spectacle toute la journée de passage d’oiseaux, de paons.
Le logement est très propre.les chambres et salle de bains spacieuses. Meilleur petit dej du séjour. On aura pu y rester plus que 3 jours.

Place is lovely - clean and spacious rooms. The staff are exceptional! Pawan, the manager and the Chef went out of their way to serve us. The location is in the middle of paddy fields in a quiet place, views are overlooking a huge field. Very peaceful area and close access to Galle (7,5km) and Unawatuna. Easy to get pickme if you don't have own transport. Breakfast was very delicious, the chef is very talented, lunch and dinner also available on request.

Le lieu est magnifique, très propre et parfaitement entretenu. Le personnel est adorable,vraiment au top.Tout est nikel!

Cependant,j'ai trouvé le prix un peu excessif par rapport à d'autres hôtels que nous avons faits durant notre séjour,qui étaient tout aussi bien.Le WC mériterait aussi un petit ajustement car il bouge un peu.En dehors de ça l'expérience reste agréable, mais le rapport de qualité prix pourrait être amélioré.

het uitzicht is echt fenomenaal vanuit de infinity pool. Kamers erg ruim en mooi ingericht. Warme douche!

Gorgeous hotel, if we were staying in high season I'm sure it would be great. Upon arrival, we asked if we could get some lunch, we were told no chef which wasn't a problem, the owner made us sandwiches. There didn't seem to be a chef the whole time with the owner making us breakfast each day. Rooms are spacious & comfortable, and everything is clean also. Pool is lovely looking over fields. Location is slightly out the way of Galle about 20 minutes but ubers aren't too much of a problem - just don't get tuk tuks on the side of the road to bring you back as they will charge a lot.

It has great inside spaces and loverly outside areas. it's very relaxing and it is in a nice position...it is peaceful.!
Staff are very nice.

A beautiful villa set on a lovely quiet road overlooking rice fields. The interior design and architecture is outstanding! Rooms are huge and there's a separate toilet and shower!
Smart Tv in the room...we thoroughly (and sadly!) enjoyed catching up on some Netflix! The guys can help you arrange a bike, or Pick Me works well, as does Uber Eats if you're lazy like us and want an afternoon snack! The guys here are all very hardworking and friendly, but especially Pawan. If hes not physically there, he can be contacted on Whatsapp.
We fancied a beer with dinner and one of the guys drove into Galle to pick some up for us! I highly recommended this hotel and thought it was exceptional value for money!

Beautiful view from room, nice pool, convenient silent place. Friendly Stuff. Delicious food. Highly recommend you to stay here.

The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The outside and pool area is also lovely.

We were warmly welcomed with refreshing fresh juice. The room and bathroom were spotless and well-maintained, reflecting the overall care put into the hotel. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making our stay truly enjoyable. Breakfast was both delicious and generous, while the Sri Lankan dishes served at dinner were exceptionally tasty. We absolutely loved our stay!

The staff were accommodative. They have a lovely pool overseeing the paddy field where you can see and hear peacock.

Friendly staff, the hotel was clean, and the dinner was lovely from the restaurant. breakfast also good. We can go to Unawatuna beach easly.
