Hotel Gold Palace Paharganj

The photos shown on Hotels.com are absolutely not true. The hotel is extremely dirty and nothing like what is advertised. There is no entrance from the main street — you have to go through a very unpleasant back alley full of trash, hanging laundry, and people cooking on open fires on the ground. The only main access is through a bar. Several people working nearby told me that the hotel is used by the bar’s clients to stay there with women.

The room itself was filthy, with a horrible appearance. Even the bathroom floor was covered in dirt, with black shoe prints all over it. This place is unsafe, unhygienic, and completely misrepresented online. I’m very disappointed.

Terrible location, right off of a Bazar street, dirty, noisy and sketchy.
The room was stuffy, no ventilation, mold on walls and doors, very dirty under the bed, towels were moist, altogether not a great experience.

The Room which i occupied was excellent, with style & elagance... it looked like a golden room with ceiling lights and wall fixtures... Good Cozy room with good new AC and with good staff lead by Manager Manoj Kumar were very helpful. The morning breakfast too was really good.

Overall EXCELLENT place to stay close to New Delhi Railway Station.

Very bad area

We had a so nice staying at this hotel. Staffs exchanged foreign currency for us. And they gave us good service as a restaurant, cleaning, communication. You can get to New Delhi station in about 5 minutes. These reasons made us feel good

Sentralt beliggende ved jernbanestasjonen og kort vei til de fleste severdighetene. Hyggelig personale og god sikkerhet. Rent, ryddig og veldig hyggelig. God kvalitet for pengene:)

Great Hotel value for money exceptional

Good hotel and supportive staffs. Room was clean.
There was problem with breakfast and kitchen. Staffs were not aware that breakfast is included in my stay.

Centrally located in Central Delhi. A lot to do and see nearby.

Lovely personnel, very easy going and relaxed. Hotel was situated in a very busy street which we didn’t know as it was our first time in Delhi. But hotel felt safe and really was a way to relax in the very hectic street life. Rooftop was a very pleasant and welcome relaxing place to wind down. There was quite some noise outside and within the hotel that you could hear from the room. Luckily we are not very light sleepers so it didn’t bother us too much. Overall great value for money.

it was a pretty good stay. a budget hotel with okay service. I would have no problem staying again

U could not find a better property for a night stay if u have an early train to catch... Reasonable price,good food, confortable rooms..
