Lovely new property. Lobby and rooftop bars excellent. Very friendly staff and convenient location. Chamber maid service was a little slow but will definitely stay here on our next trip.
Not welcoming by any staff. Barely acknowledged by front desk, manager, or concierge almost every time I came into the hotel. The weekend club upstairs on the roof,6th floor, which bumped thecno music was heard all the way on the 4th floor. I was laughed at by front desk when I called to inquire why with no concern for the guests who are there to sleep at night. The club goes till midnight. No one could answer where or when the complimentary shuttle was available. No assistance was offerd from valet while loading or unloading car with luggage and golf bag every time I got my car. Not enough storage available in room for clothes. One drawer half taken up by a safe. The impractical "Chiller", not a fridge in room only held a temp for possibly wine or beer, couldn't handle any food storage. The tablet in the room that's supposed to offer information said the menu coming, yet offers room service and other possible info to no avail. Extended my stay by one night on a Tuesday with an increase of 150$ with no explainable reason why. No one who works there seemed to know what events or conventions were in town, possibly informing guests as to why costs and business was the way it was. I was condescended to by the bar when I ordered an espresso martini, saying that at least it's in a "cute" glass, a coupe. This place isn't a luxury hotel.
A very new property. Beautifully designed rooms but they need to work out some kinks. At this price point, I feel service should be exemplary, and they’re not there yet. Food at restaurant was not hot, just warm, and the steak was tough. Housekeeping did not replenish bathroom supplies, and we asked about it at the front desk on our way out to dinner. It hadn’t been resolved yet when we returned a couple of hours later, and we had to ask again. Ultimately housekeeping delivered after a total of 3 hours after we asked about it. We want to give them some grace, but I hope in the future management can empower front desk staff to really wow the guest when they express a concern about the service they receive (vs what was expected). We received coupons toward breakfast the next morning, which was nice, but we wanted to leave early so it was a limited value to us. Although it was a nice hotel and I’m sure they will resolve the issues, we will likely stay elsewhere the next time we visit Louisville.
The hotel was BEAUTIFUL, clean, modern and the staff was Amazing. The only think I did not like was the club music blasting until really late at night. I was not able to fall asleep until 12:30 every night. It didn't help that I was on the floor directly beneath it.
Very nice, clean hotel
Staff were awesome! They had a huge weekend and they somehow made us feel like we were the only ones there! Rooms are BEAUTIFUL! All the details in the whole hotel were amazing! I would say the only issue was the loudness of engines revving outside laaate at night in the corner room we had. I luckily had some ear plugs but I’d recommend bringing a noise machine or fan!
The staff was wonderful, extremely clean and modern rooms.
Beautiful hotel! Great staff, amenities, and the room was comfy and clean. Would definitely stay here again.
We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The hotel was beautiful and the front desk staff were kind, but our celebration was ruined when turndown staff threw away most of our $230.00 (before tip) tomahawk steak dinner from the hotel’s on-site steakhouse. If you can’t eat it all at one sitting and have to take your meal back to your room, beware — it may be tossed if you step out to explore the city. The hotel apologized at checkout and promised a refund, but just yesterday another manager refused to honor it. Extremely disappointing treatment for such a milestone occasion.
It was good
Beautiful facility and wonderful staff. The restaurant downstairs has great food & awesome wine selection. The managers “Christine Brayton & Daniel Fulton” were extremely great and very accommodating.
Awesome experience!! Great service and cleanliness
Hotel is really clean and convenient to the YUM Center. Area was also good. Several things to do.
Overall great place! Rooftop pool and bar, steakhouse on the main level.
I decided to stay ay Hotel Bourre Bonne for my birthday. Upon arrival, the lobby is nice. I wouldn't say luxury as the description provides, but decent. Walking in to the check on desk, there was 1 family being helped and a group of workers on the other side. Stood there for about 10 mins before being greeted and finally someone said "are you checking in?" In my mind I'm thinking "no, I'm just standing here for no reason," I responded yes. It's my birthday and I wanted to check out the new hotel. No response from the check I'm clerk. I ask for all birthday accommodations since it's my birthday. She responded I'll see what I can do. So that set the tone for the service. I get to my room. It's nice, nothing super major. Besides the view of the homeless ppl across the street huddled under a building canopy. I went up to the pool which was the smallest pool I've ever seen at a hotel. The loungers were nice. I did notice electrical tape wrapped around a pole with wires wrapped in electrical tape which looked suspect. Maybe they still have construction that needs to be done. I then went down to three redtaurant for dinner. No wait, no reservations. It was a Sunday so it wasn't busy at all. However, it took 20 mins to get a water that I had to ask for. The waiter brought water that was warm, not even chilled. I asked if he was our waiter and he said no. Another waitress came around and said she would be back with us. We left and went to the lobby bar and ordered dinner there. The fo
Our check in experience was great! Everyone that we came into contact with was extremely attentive. We were told the hotel was working to gain a 5 star rating and we think they have the building to do so, however, overall we did not have a 5 star hotel experience. The room was nicely decorated with a large tv and a king size bed. The room had a cooler but no fridge. Also there is only ice one the second floor, however the ice machine was broken. We were told if we needed ice all we needed to do was call the front desk but this became an issue. Some of the front desk folks we talked to about ice kindly brought it up to our room with no problem. On the other hand others continued to refer us to the ice machines on the second floor (the broken one) and seemed increasingly inconvenienced at our single evening request. We stayed four nights but only had our room cleaned once and only received turn down service once as well. While we thoroughly enjoyed the room cleaning and turn down when we got it the service was inconsistent no matter what time we were in our out of the room. The robes they laid out for us during turndown service were dirty as well. Heads up to anyone staying over the weekend, the club/lounge on the sixth floor is a great experience but if you are not attending be prepared to hear music until midnight if you’re on a high floor. The restaurant downstairs is beautiful, however the food we had was underwhelming and not well seasoned. I have more to say but no space.
Lovely location and friendly staff.
Very clean and excellent service. All employees were very friendly and helpful. Top of the line steaks cooked to perfection. Our waiter, Ronnie, was superb!
I requested a fan for our room. They brought an ozone fan. Good thing I read the label that said “not for occupied spaces” and that I know about ozone. Could have been a health disaster. Ordered room service and it took 45 minutes to get scrambled eggs, toast and fruit. Every time I needed my car from valet it took 15 minutes.
I’m a Louisville native. My boyfriend and I chose this hotel for our staycation on the 4th of July. Everything was excellent! The staff are nice and attentive. The pool and omg the showers! They had a party on the rooftop and to watch the fireworks. Great views! This is a great place to stay to enjoy Louisville. Would 100% stay again.
