Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful and keen to do a good job. That said at every meal they forgot to bring something, whether it was a cup of tea or coffee or a glass of wine. The food ( both at breakfast and dinner) was very good

Cons:

The bedroom was above the kitchen and we had cooking smells wafting up in the morning and in the evening which meant we had to keep the window closed - just when Ireland is having it's latest hetwave.

Top stay in Cong!
Pros:

Great little pub hotel...fantastic staff and great service...big room with modern, well appointed bathroom...very comfortable bed too!

Cons:

Parking was limited over the weekend but they didn't have a lot of space

Fantastic weekend
Pros:

Loved the area, so close to everything. Fantastic atmosphere in the lydons lodge hotel. Food was really nice and reasonable. Staff were so helpful and kind.

Centrally located to walks, shops and sights - close to the river. The included breakfast was very good, and offered choices.

Cons:

Parking is limited and was challenging to find any in front of the hotel. Steep stairs to the rooms upstairs - a problem if you have mobility issues. Recently remodeled but still dark inside - thankfully we a had a room where we could open the windows into the back courtyard. It was unseasonably hot out & the fan was not enough to cool the room.

I would defininately recommend this to others.
Pros:

The rooms were clean and it was great for three adults in one room. It was in the heart of Cong with many things in walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Unfortunately there was a wake and so we were unable to use the restaurant upon arrival but they were helpful in a very close recommendation so it turned out fine.
