Excellent hotel and breakfast
Pros:

We needed an early check-in, which was sorted by phone with no problem. Very friendly staff on arrival, room was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast - of the menu items we had a full Irish and the scrambled eggs with salmon, generous portions in both cases. One of us was late in coming down but staff were accommodating.

Comfortable hotel in a great location
Pros:

The location of this hotel was central to the areas we were visiting such as Ashford Castle. We ate in the pub restaurant and the food was good. The breakfast was also good. There is limited parking outside but there was plenty of parking available on the surrounding roads. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definently stay again next time we go back to Cong.

Cons:

There was nothing that would have made our stay at Lydons Lodge any better.

It was fabulous rooms were lovely. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff was very friendly.
