The staff members were really friendly and attentive. Check-in was very smooth, and the room was exactly as pictured. The location of the hostel is great. We got a room without a window facing the street, so we slept really good, but if you prefer a room with a window facing the street, you can let the staff know. The room came with good lighting, a fan, and some details like water, a kettle, and towels, which were really nice. They had the best breakfast for sure. We also ate dinner in the restaurant in the hostel, and it was amazing. If you need any help, they will be glad to help you book a taxi or anything you need for your trip. I was glad to talk with them and get to know more about the culture and more. Thank you so much! I recommend this place for your stay in Kathmandu.
Good and clean room, with an excellent location. The staff was nice and the breakfast delicious. A really good place to stay in Katmandu.

The room is very very very small, and quite dirty.
The mattress should have been replaced a looooong time ago.
Don't get fooled by the photos, they are 10 years old. This was actually a decent place at the time, but they just let it fall into pieces while they kept raising the price...
For 1500 rupees/night, it's probably the worst deal you can find around Thamel.
Avoid absolutely.
We stayed here on 3 occasions during our 1 month trip in Nepal. It is very good value for money, we were upgraded a couple times to larger family rooms which were very nice and spacious. Breakfast was very good and the staff were all nice and helpful. The location is fantastic in Thamel with great access to restaurants and shopping. (Plus the masala tea was very nice!)
In comparison to staying in rooms on floors 1, 3 and 4, you can tell a difference in the level of noise from the street- it was quieter the higher we were. Not a deal breaker for us though as it was a great location and expected in the city.

Clean room, nice staff, water supply in bathroom, breakfast and location were also good.
