Bon emplacement
Chambre confortable
Bruit de rue
Location
Very dirty, toilet seat dirty. Bathroom was very dirty ,
Bed frame, dirty, mirrors dirty.
Outside dining room is filthy
We did not go for breakfast as area was very dirty, was not a 4* more a 1/2
We had to get them to re clean, but not much differant.
Very sad 😢 because done up it could be amazing
No WiFi
Pool was green
Nothing
Dirty and poorly maintained
The property had character and provided plenty of toiletries.
The outdoor area smelt really bad due to being by the water. The pool definitely isn’t usable. Location isn’t the best but that’s just kochi as a whole, wouldn’t recommend spending time in this city.
Location and staff
Level of cleanliness; poor breakfast ; needs an upgrade.
The location is perfect. It is a quaint hotel with historic artefacts museum hall. Absolutely amazing. has a colonial look and feel.
I booked this hotel because of the waterfront pictures, But you really cannot sit out there as there is so much plastic rubbish in the water and at sunset you will be bitten silly by mosquitoes. They do not spray the area and as such you cannot enjoy the sunset nor just a coffee outside.
It was a quirky place to stay. The main areas were like a museum!
There wasn't much of a welcome by the staff. It would have been nice to have an introduction to the hotel and information about breakfast.
La situation géographique est super, ds bazar roads, au cœur de fort kochi . C est un établissement ds le style colonial très sympa.
La propreté est correcte. Il y a parfois des problèmes d’alimentation en eau.
The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was a charming time capsule from the past. The breakfast was decent.
The bathroom was not in a very good condition - leaky sink, noisy ventilator fan, loose fittings. The fridge wasn't working. The hotel is around a 20-30 minute walk (5-10 minutes by autorickshaw) from the Fort Kochi one sees in pictures, so I wouldn't say a great location. Overall, the location, breakfast and the quality of facilities were only decent given the hefty price for the stay.
The staff were wonderful. Good location, too.
The room wasn't great.
The waterfront view at night was nice
The property is not maintained well. It needs a thorough clean. The facilities were also basic.
The best part of the property is the water view but that part is closed off at night.
Decor and room size.
No hot water for the duration of our 2 night stay. The staff were extremley poor on commumicating aroumd the issue with us....where we had to continually ask but no one knew what was going on. Veru slow service at breakfast even though there were numerous staff. At checkout they asked for payment for some drinks we had at arrival....We thought these would have been complimentary at last with the hot water issue. We had to ask again and eventually agreed. No mention of a possible discount either....very expensive to think no shower or wash for 2 whole days! Nice building but poor staff, service and communication. I would have thpught they wmight have reached out to compensate by now but no. They even got us to pay when we arrived before telling us about the hot water issue....very poor and underhand!
