Disappointing
Pros:

Staff very friendly and duty Manager very helpful

Cons:

Breakfast no tables set and lots if dirty dishes, on arrival at restaurant booking in to find how much we paid for our room in view of everyone as this was discussed by the person in front of us.
Seating in restaurant was stained. In our room carpet frayed going into bathroom. Room was very tired in need of upgrade, water drainging in sink very slow to empty

Tiered. Refurbishment due
Pros:

Good countryside location.

Cons:

The whole place is well overdue a big refurbishment. Cracked between tiles in the bathroom. Taps with their chrome gone. Lots of lime buildup around the shower screen. Sink didn't empty.
TV channels mostly un watchable due to "no signal" message or signal breakup.
Bazaar layout for the breakfast. With items that would go together (cereals and fruit might have spoons nearby hem etc etc.)
Our second trip this year. But sadly probably won't be going again

Room £130 for the night - Damage to my car in the carpark £550 !!!!
Pros:

room ok, reception staff in the evening were great upon arrival.

Cons:

My car was damaged in the car park (which I witnessed) when I requested the CCTF footage from reception they advised me that they didn't have CCTV, when I pointed out they had two cameras pointing directly at my car they back tracked and said that "Owners leave their cars in the carpark at their own risk", which i understand and wasn't looking to lodge a claim but wanted help with the footage for my insurance - they point blank refused.

More coffee machines at breakfast, the queue to get coffee is frustrating

Property takers Ng over with new owners, they don't seem to be interested in hotel, stayed here a number of times over the years everything has gone down hill prices at bar sky high staff at breakfast to busy talking among themselves, rooms very tired, won't stay here again. Henry

NICE 2 DAY STAY AT A FRIENDLY WELL EQUIPPED HOTEL NEAR WOODBRIDGE.
Pros:

ALL STAFF WERE EXCELLENT, PARTICULARLY THE RECEPTION STAFF WHO WERE FRIENDLY, ENGAGING, KEEN AND HELPFUL. BREAKFAST CHOICE AND QUALITY WAS EXCELLENT. BAR STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

Cons:

WATER FROM THE SINK AND SHOWER HEAD WAS EITHER HOT OR HOTTER SO I COULD NOT HAVE A COOL SHOWER. KEY CARD DID NOT WORK FIRST TIME NECESSITATING ANOTHER VISIT TO RECEPTION WHICH WAS A FEW HUNDRED YARDS AWAY. NO RESTAURANT MENU OR FAN IN MY ROOM. THE RECEPTION STAFF DID FIND A FAN FOR ME LATER WHICH WAS GREAT. RADIATOR IN THE BATHROOM WAS RUSTY.

The pool is a good size. Hotel was comfortable enough for a night while we were at a nearby wedding.

Cons:

The cooked breakfast had almost run out at 9:30, and what was left looked like it had been out for a while.
Fire alarm went off at 2am.
Small thin pillows.
