Pros:

Such a wonderful stay. Staff were friendly, attentive and the food was incredible. Room was lovely, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Surroundings were peaceful and we loved every moment.

Prachtige locatie in een mooi pand met historie.
Pros:

Mooi oud pand dat van binnen prachtig is gerenoveerd en helemaal in stijl is ingericht. Ondanks dat is het gewoon heel comfortabel! Erg vriendelijk personeel en een fantastische locatie in een even zo fantastische omgeving. 's Nachts totaal geen licht vervuiling en dus mooi sterren kijken.

Cons:

Helaas viel het water uit maar dat konden de eigenaren ook niet voorzien.

Escapade romantique dans nid douillet
Pros:

L’hôtel est au milieu de la nature avec la rivière et les moutons en vue. Des jumelles aux fenêtres permettent d’observer. La nourriture est excellente et l’ambiance fait qu’on se sent comme à la maison. Super literie et salle de bain au top

Ein ganz wunderbarer Aufenthalt
Pros:

Die Lage war ganz wundervoll ruhig und etwas abseits von allem Trubel. Der Inhaber und auch seine Frau waren absolut sympathische und warmherzige Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet - Retro trifft auf modernen Stil. Das Frühstück war das Beste für mich das wir in Schottland hatten. Alles frisch und selbst zubereitet, mit Liebe auf dem Teller garniert. Hier konnte man sich eine Auszeit für sich nehmen. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur jedem empfehlen!

Tolle Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage. Passend zum Namen toll und kreativ eingerichtet. Das Frühstück könnte individuell gewählt werden und war sehr lecker. Absolut empfehlenswert 😀.

Truly special lodge
Pros:

Enjoyed everything was truly unique. The house has a serious feel of a bygone era and the restoration is taking this into account. Highly recommend trying dinner it was delicious.

Cons:

A fireplace in the lounge would be gorgeous and make it more cosy to enjoy this lovely lodge.

Great little place!
Pros:

Lovely hotel, location spectacular (although isolated but that is what we wanted), friendly staff and great breakfast. The deco is cosy & stylish, the restaurant offers great food, everything has been thought through carefully.

Cons:

Style over practicalities in places. The bed. I never complained about beds normally but this one was bad. Lighting in the bathroom felt like being back 1920s when electricity first arrived… i couldn’t see a thing. I would have told the staff when we checked out but the question’how was your stay?’ was never asked…
