The Black Ivy Hotel met our expectations. I ordered a birthday package for my daughter (flowers, balloon, chocolates). The email contact was excellent and everything was perfectly prepared for our arrival. The staff was very nice and helpful and the rooms were nice and clean. I highly recommend ☺️

Lovely stay in a great location.
Pros:

Good space room. Great location. Breakfast was great and the staff were lovely !

The hotel is located above a bar so it isn’t the quietest.

Perfect
Pros:

Thank you to the lovely ladies at check in and check out. They were kind. They also let us leave our bags behind for a few hours so we could spend our time in Edinburgh without carrying our bags around until we needed to get the train home.
Thank you very much again for being so kind and friendly. Our stay was amazing!

Cons:

Room was not easy to sleep in. External hotel lighting flooded the room.
Breakfast was odd. Has to order à la carte so not good if in a hurry.
Parking was v difficult and expensive.
