Es war wirklich toll!
Der Gastgeber war unglaublich freundlich, und hat einem jeden Wunsch erfüllt.
Das Frühstück war gigantisch. Ein Mix aus Sri lankischem und Europäischem Frühstück. Guter Kaffee. Und mehr als üppig.
Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, die Betten bequem. Ein Mückennetz am Bett.

We stayed for 4 nights and were really well looked after. Our host provided a lot of really good recommendations, organised a safari for us and picked us up via tuk tuk or jeep. Food was provided for breakfast and could be provided for lunch and dinner too and was always really tasty. Highly recommend!

Ihad a wonderful stay at this homestay at SMW Lodge Sigiriya. The location is excellent quiet, green, and very close to the main road, like 10 min walk. The room was clean and exactly as described.

The hosts were extremely kind and helpful, always ready to assist with transport, safari arrangements, and local tips. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. I felt very safe and peaceful here.

Family run small hotel. Owners are more than friendly, arranged everything for me (tours, tuktuk, laundry and taxi to my next stop). Really great place, in nature on a quite road.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes. Ils ont été aux petits soins et nous ont aidé à organiser nos activités et notre transfert.
Les chambres se trouvent dans un écrin de verdure et la literie est très confortable.
Le petit déjeuner et le dîner sont très bons et très copieux.

La struttura è una piccola casetta immersa in un giardino bellissimo in cui riposarsi lontano dal traffico e immersi nella natura. È un posto che noi abbiamo davvero trovato magico lo consiglio davvero molto! La posizione è molto buona immersa nel verde abbiamo visto un sacco di animali bellissimi, uccelli, scoiattoli ecc.. inoltre la colazione è in assoluto la migliore colazione che abbiamo mangiato in Sri Lanka! La stanza è spaziosa e pulita. Piccola nota rimane un pochino fuori dalla strada principale e questo a mio avviso è molto bello ma bisogna tenere in conto che si dovrà mangiare presto perché dopo le 9:30 è sconsigliato girare per le strade a causa del pericolo degli elefanti selvatici. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Lo staff è cortese e disponibile, noi non ne abbiamo usufruito ma con loro è possibile fare anche dei Safari.

Our stay at SMW Lodge was simply wonderful. The room was large, beautifully designed, and very clean – we felt comfortable and at home from the very beginning. The lodge is set in a lovely garden, surrounded by nature, which created a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that we truly enjoyed.

The host was absolutely amazing – always smiling, very welcoming, helpful, and generous. He was attentive without ever being intrusive, and we really appreciated his kind and warm personality.

Breakfast was excellent every day, and he even adapted the breakfast time to match our daily plans and activities. He went above and beyond by offering to drive us to all the local attractions and even got up early in the morning to take us to Lion’s Rock in time for the sunrise.

He also arranged a cooking class for us and took us to his brother’s hotel so we could enjoy their swimming pool. The entire family was incredibly warm and kind – we felt so welcome.

This was by far the best accommodation we stayed at during our trip to Sri Lanka. Thank you so much for everything!

Clean / great value for money

Very friendly and helpful

We really enjoyed our stay here. The host was so attentive and helpful. They were really helpful in doing our laundry for us, and helped to answer any questions we had. The bed was really comfortable and the bedroom was a really nice size. We also really enjoyed the breakfasts.

The host here was so lovely, he tried to help in any way possible by arranging tuk tuks and a taxi to our next location. His breakfast was lovely, he even made sure my gluten allergy was catered for to the best of his ability. I am coeliac and the breakfast the whole time was safe and tasty. Room was clean and beds were comfy, very basic but to be expected for the price. Aircon was fantastic and kept the room very cool! Wifi worked well for our whole stay! Brilliant place to stay with lovely family!
