Air condition, private bathroom, TV in the room. Felt very safe. Very clean. Shower worked great. Drinking water available. Kitchen to cook your own food. Very nice and kind owners. I could leave my bag for a couple of hours. Its located about 25 min walk to the cenote cocalitos (public access to lagoon). Thank you!
It was a bit far from the bus stop and the center. Value for money - ok.
Very good location, very quiet
If the rooms are fully booked, they can run out of hot water.
Is located in the heart of Bacalar
Very clean and close to downtown Bacalar
The location
The owner is very unfriendly and acts as if he is doing you a favour by allowing you to pay for a stay.
The cardboard walls are also very entertaining, you don’t even need a tv because you can listen in to what the neighbours are watching.
Lastly, no English, which is fine, during our stay in Mexico we had plenty of hosts who didn’t speak but we could communicate via google translate, gestures, anything, and this guy just didn’t care to bother. Very unpleasant experience unfortunately :(
