On the 13th. first morning breakfast was good and the service at table was good.
On the 14th the second morning the table service was disappointing I was asked if would like toast. I requested 2 rounds of white toast. I was given 2 rounds of brown granary. I ordered coffee the waitress brought the coffee but we had no cups.she brought the cups but at no point did she make apology.
Not a lot
Beautiful location, staff were friendly and helpful, they were very accommodating regarding our late book in. Excellent breakfast, there was a good choice of vegetarian options and was beautifully cooked. Comfortable bed and tea/ coffee/ biscuits/ bottles of spring water/ hot chocolate were an added bonus.
The room was a little small but suited our needs for a short stay.
Excellent value mid week bed and breakfast deal
Cooked breakfast great choices
Food excellent
Needs a little TLC looking dated .
Staff just going through the motions.
Clean room comfy bed roomy bathroom and shower, excellent full english in the morning.
Could have had a few more toiletries like shower gels for 2 people and there where no tea bags but plenty of coffee.
Lovely bar and restaurant area - good food
Window open due to heat but as the room was straight on to the road it was noisy with cars and motorbikes - Accept not the hotel's fault but better to have a room overlooking the countryside if you have a choice
Very comfortable, lovely views, warm bed.
Nothing
Nice and warmly
A lot of food was not available
Excellent location, gorgeous breakfast and friendly helpful staff.
Shower was not very powerful at all.
Beautiful spacious room, delicious dinner and breakfast. Great value for money.
Nothing not to like !
Loved the area lovely views relaxing lots of walking places near and wasn’t far to drive to local town . The property was lovely inside and out plenty of room well organised nice comfy rooms . Easy for parking . Garden area was gorgeous for sitting in and enjoy a drink and the sun. Brilliant breakfast plenty of choice and well filling . Staff were nice and friendly and welcoming and very helpful had a lovely stay here and would definitely stay again. Its limited menu food was ok only ate once as we had good breakfast both mornings . Would say drinks and food is midrange priced .
Only thing which had better access disabled rooms as I know my parents would love this place .
Loved the location and friendly staff. Rooms were clean if not a little hot when we went but it was exceptionally warm weather when we went. Views and walks in the area are amazing. Food was very good too all in all a perfect visit.
Breakfast was excellent
All staff where professional and friendly except one young blonde hair lng tied back slamed food down all staff cleared away tables etc as to where extremely busy , she however would just walk past!!
Loved the location and the gardens and view room was spotless but very warm no air conditioning but we were provided with a fan
Lovely location and garden
It wasn’t as clean as it could be. The bedroom had a bit of an unpleasant smell and I couldn’t open the window
The room was of a good size with everything you needed. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty.
Car parking was close by and large.
The outlook at the back of the hotel was relaxing with plenty of garden furniture
6he stairs up to the room, quite steep
Great venue in lovely location. A warm reception on arrival. Thrilled with the room. Dog friendly hotel they made my doggie just as welcome as me. Food is mostly locally sourced and beautifully presented delicious, great menu. Some outstanding staff members, Buckley behind the bar, Nicky fabulous waitress, Lesley-Ann and Freya all went the extra mile. All staff were really good.Location is amazing, views stunning. Will definitely return.
