Lovely host. Excellent location outside of Luang Prabang if you are after peace and relaxation.

Musím říci, že pokud existoval ráj na zemi, tak vypadal takto. Kolem jen příroda, která bere dech. Žádná televize , žádný signál. ( pouze v restauraci, nebo koupit místní sim- kartu). Obsluha výtečná, Paní Moon - majitelka vždy ochotná a srdečná.

Recommend without hesitation. After a long flight or after a stay in the town, come here for an oasis of quiet, tranquility and peacefulness, surrounded by a spectacularly beautiful landscape of steep, heavily forested hills and a slow, slightly greenish Namkhan river in the valley below. Apart from the barely audible sound of one or two small boats a day, passing in the background, and a faint echo of the train whistle in the distance, it is completely silent here.
Rooms are solid, clean, spacious and well maintained -- if without distractions like TV and WiFi (in the rooms); food in the restaurant is delicious, freshly prepared by very good cooks; the atmosphere is laid-back, informal and conducive to rest and reflection. Transfer from and to Luang Prabang, the train station or the airport can be arranged by resort management at cost.
Daily management in this resort is 100% fluent in English, and staff is catching up.

Everything! What a serene and relaxing place to stay when visiting Luang Prabang. The charming host employs local ladies who keep the place in impeccable condition. Plus your money stays in the community. The food is superb — many choices on the menu for the complimentary breakfast. The lunch/dinner menu was varied and did not disappoint. As self-proclaimed “foodies” we rate this as the best food we have eaten in a long time. Everything is homemade and has complex flavors. This is also the first place that we wish we could have stayed longer; four days was not enough. If you want/need to go to LP, you can catch a free ride into town — about a 20-minute drive.

The location is fantastic. 15 km from Luang Prabang on the Nankham River, it's ideal if you're looking for peace and relaxation. Everything is lovingly furnished, with stunning views of nature and the river. Moon is a wonderful host who helps with any questions. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Fast Wi-Fi is available in the main house and by the pool

Room was very clean. The place was beautiful and peaceful. Only problem is that how you get there. Get the taxi what hotel offers you! You get there easier

This place was superb. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and helped us with forward travel plans. The breakfast was great and the room very comfortable with amazing views

This Journey in the Zen Namkhan Boutique was close to perfect. Very calm & peaceful environment. High class appartments with big space. My son has enjoyed the stay very much and the service was on point with fully support & flexible.
Big recommendation if you would like to enjoy a stay with out any noise incl. enough space to keep time with your self.

Very peaceful, lovely location. Pool is wonderful. The owner is so helpful and friendly, and the food is also very good.

I originally planned to stay just four days having booked randomly and seeing only a few reviews (not realising they were quite newly open) but I was so taken by the location, nestled in the mountains with stunning views and the perfect swimming pool.Moon took guests the short jaunt into town if need be and the very personable Phet Simone trekked us through a jungle path to the local village and elephant sanctuary where we got to feed the elephants and wash them in the river (only charge was in the sanctuary).Four day’s just wasn’t enough for me and I wanted to work my way around the delicious menu.Only thing I consistently ate was the amazing (free) Zen omelette which I had every morning without fail 😋 Moon was an inspiring source of information and only too willing to engage in conversations about local history,customs,cuisine and culture.Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough 👍

* The location, outside the city, you’re in a middle of a stunning forest facing a river. Ideal for a retreat away from the crowd.
* The staff: very friendly and professional, you feel like with friends specially with the owner and Manager.
* The facilities: from infinity pool to the resting kiosks, the restaurant, the rooms, the walking areas, between the bungalows, the background music, the lighting, everything was perfect.
* Value for money: since it was an reopening offer, the price was very convenient.

A real paradise in the middle of a lush jungle with incredible views of the river and the stunning mountains around.
The resort proposes accommodations in beautiful big houses fully furnished, some even have a kitchen !
The owner and the staff were thoughtful and really helpful.
Definitely a Zen place, full of positive energy.
I will come back as soon as possible!
