Cons:

Gospođa je otkazala plaćenu sobu pola sata prije dolaska s objašnjenjem da će mi se novac refundirati u cijelosti. Svi apartmani su na taj dan bili tri puta skuplji što objašnjava njen postupak, naći se u stranom gradu i ne moći vjerovati potvrđenoj rezervaciji je užasno iskustvo....

Cons:

The hotel suddenly canceled my reservation just before check-in because the room was not ready. I had to quickly find an alternative hotel, rearrange my travel itinerary, and spend a lot of time during my trip. The hotel said they would refund my money, but it has not been refunded yet. The damage I suffered goes beyond the cost.

Pros:

Good location, you can reach the old town with a 20 minutes walk, but you can take the bus too, the bus stop is so close. The host is very kind and helpful.

Sometimes it is noisy because of the traffic.

Friendly host, pleasant surroundings, good value room

Dreadful experience and filthy throughout
Cons:

The place was filthy with dust and dirt everywhere, hair on the bedding, pillows that had a pungent smell of sweat, overflowing rubbish in the kitchen, a dirty sink with left over plates, dirty personal belongings left around the room, cobwebs..... Truly a horror show!
I was the only guest in the apartment, but the booking advert doesn't mention that the homeowner and boyfriend are also using the bathroom and kitchen and surely did not leave them in a suitable condition.
I canceled the booking and moved somewhere else, but Giulia has ignored me since and I am still waiting for a refund.


UPDATE: 2 months have passed and I'm still waiting for a refund. Giulia is apparently ignoring booking emails and, honestly, booking.com is not exactly holding up to their reputation.

It was short but sweet stay.
Pros:

The property is just a short walk from the center. It was easy to find, available parking... the host is super nice and super responsive.
