Very charming hotel
Pros:

Very charming. The staff were incredibly nice. Every afternoon we were invited to have tea and try different kinds with them. The location was amazing: 5 minutes from the Zhangjiajie park, right in the night market street with lots of options to eat and supermarkets, but at the same time very silent in the room. Very comfortable bed and great toiletries.

Cons:

We were in a fourth floor without elevator. The hotel was a bit rusty, although still good.

Pros:

Very helpful staff. English was a bit of a barrier but they always invited us to drink tea whenever we had any questions and were able to help us with everything we needed. The balcony attached to the room was very nice as well and in general the room was nicely decorated.

Cons:

There is no physical separation between the shower and the toilet and the shower, in general, is old and doesn't work extremely well (very difficult to accurately control the temperature and the water pressure was quite low).
Even though there were 'no smoking ' signs everywhere, people were constantly smoking in the building and the smoke often entered the room.
The ceiling was very low, and it was not possible to stand up fully in some areas of the room.
There was some construction outside and noise from the busy street nearby.

Pros:

The staff was friendly and helpful.
The location was perfect to visit the national park.

Cons:

We had a standard double room. There was mold in the bathroom, and the room was not clean. We also had some insect visitors.
All in all the price is OK for what you get...only the mold made us feel kind of uncomfortable.

Worth it! Perfect for the park!
Pros:

The location is perfect for visiting the park, 3 minutes walk. The host was very kind, and friendly staff Carol who can speak English, she helps you with everything , tickets, pick up, recommend good local restaurants. Thank you for helping and hope to see u again some day.

What a lovely stay
Pros:

Nice room with comfortable beds! Only walking distance to the National Park! The manager did her best to arrange everything before we arrived. She speaks fluent in English! Helped us to reserved National park , Grand Canyon and Tian men mountain tickets in advance, we watched Charming Xiang Xi show, the show was amazing! it was an awesome experience for us !!We tried the hand making teas at the lobby, We had a great tea time with the owner and staff!We would love to introduce this place to my friends!
