Pros:

The room was beautiful, we were given fans to deal with the heat, and location was amazing. It was a great place to retreat back to after a long day.

Cons:

The wifi was almost non-existent and the staff was very short with us.

Not the Best Choice If You Need a cold Sleeping Environment in Summer

excellent location , nice and helpful staff

Cons:

The room was extremely hot, and the lack of air conditioning made it very uncomfortable. The only fan provided was weak and had unstable legs, so it wasn't very effective. Opening the window wasn't a practical option because there was no insect screen, allowing bugs to come inside.

What was especially disappointing is that the lack of air conditioning was not mentioned in the property's online description. I was only informed about it by email after my payment had been processed and the free cancellation period had already expired. Had this information been disclosed before booking, I would have chosen a different place.

Pros:

Das zentral in der historischen Stadtteil gelegene Hotel. Der kurzer Weg zu Fluß oder Seepromenade. Unseres Zimmer hat die Terrasse mit wunderschönen Ausblicken auf alte Stadtteil. Nach dem Sonnenuntergang haben wir das als Erfrischungsgelegenheit benutzt.

Cons:

Unseres Zimmer war auf oberem Etage und bei Hitze in einem "Backoffen" verwandelt. Keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer, wenigstens einen kleinen Ventilator ohne dritten Beine brachte minimale Erleichterung. Der kleine Kühlschrank im Zimmer war nicht in der Lage, die Getränke kühl zu halten.

Super Lage in der Altstadt. Vom Bahnhof aus in wenigen Fussminuten erreichbar. Zimmer zweckmässig, sauber und nett.

Cons:

Keine Klimaanlage – aber zumindest ein Ventilator. Das Zimmer war zum Platz hinaus, wo es wegen des Stadtfestes an diesem Wochenende nicht immer leise war – insbesondere da man wegen der fehlenden Klimaanlage zwingend das Fenster offen haben musste.

Pros:

Nothing much stood out at Krone. Its location was pretty central to the old town area which was super convenient for planning trips. We did have a storm that cooled everything down and it was quite pleasant then.

Cons:

The bed was two singles put together which I fell into during the night. They did give a fan which was nice. My unit faced the front so there was no real privacy at all or quiet because I needed the windows open to move the air around. I moved a side table to prop the fan on and it was absolutely disgusting underneath it. I asked to have it cleaned but it took two days to get it fully cleaned up.

Lovely and memorable!
Pros:

We like the location of the hotel, which was in the 'heart of Lucerne' where the old town and river is, and surrounded by many cafes and restaurants. It was very vibrant and within walking distance to the train station which was convenient for us. The room was comfortable enough for our family of 3. Service was friendly and we were promptly served at all times.

Cons:

All good, though the room rate was rather expensive.

Location was fabulous!

Small and somewhat basic rooms, especially for the price. And it was HOT!! So hot. The room had a good fan, but there was no breeze from outside.
