Not for the faint-hearted, but if in that area in future I would consider staying again
Pros:

Location was convenient for my business plans. The price was good value and the room was spotlessly clean; facilities and fittings were as per the online description. Security has several layers which seems reassuring but I needed assistance with operating the electronic door mechanism (it would not work because the batteries needed replacing). When I reported the issue, the member of staff on the phone (Bibi) was helpful, but as there are no staff on site it was fortunate that new batteries could be provided and installed by a long-term guest.

Cons:

Parking is even more limited than I had expected (I got the last cramped place at 3pm). The room faced the street and the passing traffic noise overnight on a Saturday was disturbingly continuous. The electronic door entry process was clearly explained but entry was complicated by the fact that the batteries had expired and needed replacing. Fortunately another guest, already inside, was able to open the door and obtain and install new batteries. Once inside the lobby, the room key is in a combination safe which was fiddly to use. The inner door from the lobby to the corridor was supposed to be operated by a code, but it was permanently unlocked on the latch. There are no staff on site.

good beds, good tv, lot of space and very warm
Pros:

The beds were exceptionally comfortable and well made.

Cons:

The steep stairs up to the hotel are rather dodgy at times. My bathroom sink had debris from a mirror ontop of it. The shower door came off mid shower (it was an easy fix but still).
