The most AMAZING time at Barrakee - A huge thanks to Kylie, Darren and all the team for looking after us and making us feel so welcome.. Huskies kids 'hang out' is a game-changer! Food is exceptional, we couldn't fault anything - we will be back for sure !! :)

Boutique stay with a great lounge bar area, comfortable beds and room with awesome staff
Pros:

Fabulous staff and welcoming hosts Kylie and Darren. Very well organised oversnow to perisher in morning with two times and oversnow back. The lounge area was cosy and warm and dinner area was very romantic. The lodge had a boutique feel not so busy and very itimate

Cons:

Not much not to like. I was a beginner skier so a bit hard for me to ski in and out but my husband could manage easily

The staff, chef and Kylie were incredible - food was absolutely top notch. Place feels like a home away from home, very cosy atmosphere and comfortable setting

Cons:

The lodge is not right on the slopes and so you are dependent on when the snow cat runs/operates in terms of times. This can feel a bit limiting when you want to do other things during the day as you'll be taken from the lodge in the AM and again dropped back towards the end of the day - in saying this, it could work perfectly fine for some.

A Truly Memorable Time at Barakee
Pros:

The entire staff went above and beyond to be incredibly hospitable and helpful throughout our stay. My son was completely looked after at the kid’s club and absolutely loved the warm, kid-friendly atmosphere. He had the chance to make new friends and enjoy himself to the fullest, which gave us, as parents, the peace of mind to relax and fully enjoy our time, knowing our kids were safe and happy.

The food served at Barrakee was some of the best I have ever tasted—a delightful three-course dinner with canapés. Sharing this experience with great company made it even more memorable.

I wholeheartedly recommend Barrakee to anyone seeking a wonderful snow holiday, and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Cons:

While the lodge offers a great transfer service for luggage from the ski terminal to the property, I have to carry our own luggages up and down the stairs to their accommodation level. This is something to keep in mind if you have heavy or bulky bags.
