The Postmark is in an unbeatable location on Main Street--an easy walk to numerous restaurants, shops, and walking trails. The historical touches add charm. I enjoyed visiting the lobby restaurant for breakfast and happy hour.
The only negative, for me, was the noisy door between the elevators and the hallway to the guest rooms. It was clearly audible opening and closing.
Liked the location and the rooftop bar. Very friendly staff upon check in.
Did not have breakfast at hotel. I WAS in search of coffee early but was told it was not available til 7 (i tried the coffeemaker in the room, but filter broke and i had a cup of grounds-which sent me in search of lobby coffee)
I had forget my husband's credit card for the booking but they worked with me to make sure I got my room still as I had just travel 2 hours to get here. Front of house was amazing. Thank you

Located in centre of Old New Market
I could make a list a mile long of a the things that make this place an utter disappointment, but it's simply not worth the time it would take. Other than a beautiful lobby and a nice rooftop restaurant absolutely everything else was awful. We arrived at 4pm and left around 8pm the same evening. We didn't even want to attempt sleeping at this establishment.

I booked this hotel specifically for a room with a terrace. In my booking, I also left a special request for a bathmat and an upper floor if possible.
Upon arrival, I was placed in a room without a terrace but charged the original rate. The receptionist claimed this was to accommodate my upper-floor request. Ironically, they ignored the simple bathmat request but used the floor preference as an excuse to cancel my guaranteed terrace. A paid amenity should never be swapped for a conditional request without calling the guest first.
The manager was unavailable to resolve the issue, so I requested a call the next morning. They never reached out. The receptionist offered a $50 CAD gift card, which did not make up for the unapproved downgrade or the lack of communication.
To make matters worse, room service knocked and opened my door despite a clearly displayed 'Do Not Disturb' sign. Between the unapproved room downgrade, absent management, and the privacy breach, this was a highly unprofessional and unacceptable stay.
The staff were incredible! We were staying for a wedding at the end of a trip and they went above and beyond to help us with all our small and strange requests.

The property was very well located, it was clean, and the elevators were very efficient.
You could hear EVERYTHING from other rooms, and the hallway. The elevator area was segregated from the room area by a door. This made it very awkward to juggle luggage and try to keep the door open, while you manoeuvred through.
