Buena experiencia en la selva de Mulu
Pros:

En el mismo parque, con todo accesible y en mitad de la selva. Habitación amplia y cómoda, buena ducha y colchones cómodos, todo con pasarelas y mucha naturaleza y animales.

Cons:

A veces se iba la luz pero lo solucionaban pronto. Lo peor tal vez sea la comida y cena por horarios, prisas de empleados y algún trabajador, igual que la tienda que tienen, bastante básica y mala. El precio de las habitaciones algo elevado para ser Borneo pero merece la pena quedarse allí solo por donde se encuentra.

Für zwei Übernachtungen im Jungle ist OK.Es ist eine Sondeunterkunft für die Reservat Besuchern, funktionell gestalten, etwas veraltet.

Its a lodge - its fine but not great
Pros:

What we really loved was how close you are to everything. Staying in the longhouse means you are right inside the park, and all tours start basically from your doorstep. For us, that made logistics incredibly easy — especially with kids.

The rooms are simple but clean, which honestly exceeded our expectations given how remote the location is.

The setup with four single beds in one room actually worked really well for us as a family — no need for extra beds or complicated arrangements.

We also really appreciated the staff and guides, who were consistently friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. That added a lot to the experience, especially when doing tours with children.

There’s something quite special about staying in a traditional longhouse-style building on stilts in the jungle — it feels authentic and very different from normal hotels.

And overall, from a Danish perspective, it’s good value for what it is — you’re paying for location and experience, not luxury.

Cons:

This is where expectations matter a lot: the longhouse is very basic.

The rooms are simple
Bathrooms can feel a bit outdated
Don’t expect hotel-level comfort

Even reviews mention that bathrooms could use upgrading.

The biggest adjustment for us was the lack of comfort and facilities:

No TV
Limited or no WiFi
Very few places to relax indoors

That’s fine for adults — but for kids, it can be challenging in the evenings.

Because it’s a longhouse, you also get noise from neighbors. You share walls and walkways, so it’s not very private or quiet.

Food options are limited to the park café, which is okay but not very varied — especially if you stay several days.

And then there’s the overall reality: you are in the jungle.

That’s part of the experience — but it’s not always easy with children.

Also some experiences in the park is quite overpriced

Fantastisk natur i et resort med visse alvorlige mangler.
Pros:

Fantastisk beliggenhed i kanten af regnskoven. Tydelige stier med gangbroer og velafmærkede ruter.Gode og dygtige guider. Hele resortet fremstår velordnet og vedligeholdt. Nemt at skaffe kørsel til og fra lufthavnen. Hytten er stor og ren. Der er både aircon og vifte.

Cons:

Ingen wifi :-( udvalget på menuen i restauranten er meget lille og dyrt. Maden kunne være bedre. 100 meter derfra ligger Bamboo restaurant med udmærket wifi og veltilberedt mad og øl til halv pris ! Der bliver underligt nok spillet høj pop i restauranten mens folk prøver at spotte fugle derfra. Der er ikke køleskab i hytten.

the perfect accomodation when visiting Mulu NP
Pros:

Just the perfect accomodation if you are visiting Mulu NP since you are staying directly on the premises of the NP Headquarter. Our room was bright, clean and spacious. Staff is nice, breakfast is good. No complaints whatsoever

A beautiful well equipped lodge right in the rainforest.
Pros:

Beautiful surroundings.
Good facilities.
Comfortable beds and rooms on the whole.
Staff good, friendly and spoke good English.
Great that all the tours started from the accommodation.
Good selection of tours and activities at a reasonable price.

Differing description of all the tours and activities. (Depending on who you asked!)
A clearer description of tours and activities would have been helpful. Also what was required to take on the tour/activity.
Poor WiFi (but that was also a plus!)

Geweldig!

Het park was geweldig. Prachtig aangelegd en helemaal passend in de omgeving. Al het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Je kunt hier uit de kraan drinken. Geweldig!

満足度の高い自然ホテル、気になる不便は？
Pros:

宿泊する場所とツアーの予約手配が事務所が同じなのでツアーの予約が楽。
ツアー集合場所が事務所前なので楽。
設備の紹介ではファンとあったがちゃんとクーラーもあります。

Cons:

冷蔵庫がない。
ミネラルウォーターもない。
ミネラル水はレストランとツアー集合場所な2カ所あり無料。ただ、少し味がくさい。ちなみに普通のミネラル水を買う所がないもしくは1軒くらいあるかもしれないレベル。レストランは高い。解決策としてはムルへ行く前の場所で水を購入して預け荷物に詰めたほうが良いか良いかと思います。
あと、夕食はホテル周辺も食べるところが少なくホテルレストランも早くクローズしてしまうので解決策としては早めに食事を食べたほうが良いかと思います。我が家はツアーが遅れて20時30分でクローズで近くの自動販売機のカッブラーメンとポテトチップスが夕食になった失敗談がありました。

Séjour hors du temps dans une lodge superbe au milieu du magnifique parc national de Mulu !
Pros:

Le personnel est exceptionnel, la chambre est superbe, au calme et directement accessible pour toutes les excursions ! Le Café sur place sert une myriade de plats différents, typiquement locaux et faits maisons à un prix plus que raisonnable ! Nous sommes restées quatre nuits mais nous aurions pu en faire quatre de plus !!!! Le chant des oiseaux nous a bercées tout le long du séjour :)
Les guides sont sur place et vous aident à planifier toutes les activités (un grand merci à Jasmine, Francisca, Hundi, Chris et tous les autres, tout le monde est adorable c’est important de le souligner !!!)

Rien ! Tout était PARFAIT ❤️

Great accommodation inside Mulu National Park with everything you need. Highly recommend ❤️
Pros:

A beautiful bungalow inside Mulu National Park (we stayed in Patai)
We had a large room with en-suite bathroom, air con and a fan. Fresh drinking water refills on sight. The cafe was fantastic open all day with great selection of food/drinks. Jungle tours start 2 mins walk from accommodation. Hostel accommodation also available.
