Mulu National Park

We have visited Mulu before but never booked with Booking.com. Wow! Being able to book such a remote place with Booking.com was great. The staff were very friendly and accommodated an early check in given that our flight had arrived then. The rooms had comfortable beds, air con, hair and body wash. We didn't need any mosquito plug ins in the room. Breakfast was a choice of western style or local - great food and great service. Lunch/dinner was either in the park's 'cafe' (restaurant really) with a great communal feel to it or venture out. You can drink the water from the filtered taps both in your room and at refill stations. We fell in love with Mulu all over again, with its beautiful surroundings and activities - and totally blown away with how friendly the staff were and the rooms on the national park. We didn't want to leave; there's a certain magic about the place.

We ate outside the park one night and could get service on our phones as we had changed to local sims in Kuala Lumpur (no service inside the park but just walk across the river bridge). Both inside and outside the park, you could order beer (wine also in the park). The guides were very knowledgeable and we enjoyed exploring some areas (that you are allowed to go it alone) ourselves - bat exodus and paying a deposit to get the key for the tower/hide. We paid with card in the park and cash in the outside restaurant. Go! You will not be disappointed!

Gostei de tudo!! 5 estrelas, um resort no meio da selva, maravilhoso!! Recomendo para quem quiser vir explorar a natureza em redor!!

La posizione all'Interno del parco molto suggestiva e completamente immersa nella giungla, camere spaziose, colazione e pasti disponibili presso il Mulu Cafè. Assolutamente imperdibile

Staying inside Mulu national park was amazing. You wake up with the sounds of birds. Walking to the Cafe for a delicious breakfast (French toast Kaya is the best!) is already a treat. The boardwalks are well maintained and you can easily walk into the national park to start one of the many different trails which the park has to offer. I would recommend booking activities beforehand since they can be fully booked.

La posizione della struttura è davvero eccezionale: si trova proprio all'ingresso del parco e permette di raggiungere comodamente tutti i punti di partenza delle escursioni, comprese le night walk. Lo staff ci ha accolti con grande professionalità e disponibilità, aiutandoci anche a organizzare alcune escursioni che non ero riuscita a prenotare in autonomia. La nostra camera era ampia, luminosa e con una splendida vista sulla foresta, mentre il bagno era spazioso e perfettamente pulito.
La colazione era abbondante.
Un soggiorno davvero piacevole: struttura assolutamente consigliata!

The nature, just beautiful!

C'est le seul hôtel lodge à l'intérieur du parc ( aller à l'accueil du parc pour votre chambre) , très bon compromis prix et confort, entre le Marriot et les homestay.
Endroit bien tenu et propre, jolis lodge dans la jungle, petit déjeuner correct. Restaurant correct.

Basic but comfortable room in a great location in the park. The park is terrific with lots of trails and several tours you can take. Breakfast as basic but OK, and Nasi Lemak was good. Umobile SIM worked well, and the wifi in Garden cafe just outside the park was excellent.

We were in the jungle!

We stayed in the long house with private bathroom and toilet. This is a national park not a 4 or 5 star hotel accommodation so it is necessary to manage expectations. All basic needs are met. Laundry service is available and very affordable. Hair dryer is available too, request from park office.

Super Lage im Nationalpark. Wir würden wieder diese Unterkunft wählen und sie allen empfehlen. Sehr schöne Häuschen mit sehr schönen Zimmern. Gutes Badezimmer, gute Dusche. Auffüllstationen für Trinkwasser sind vorhanden.

Wonderful two night stay in the NP base. The cottages were very clean and comfortable. The food was also really good.
Joined the Deer cave walk and watched the amazing bat exodus from the cave. Did other self guided walks and had a fantastic time.
