Amazing stay, wish we had longer here. 3 days was definitely not enough.
Pros:

We loved the atmosphere of the room — it felt incredibly luxe and elegant. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and we couldn’t wait to sink into the doona each night; it was honestly the most comfortable and cosy bedding we’ve ever experienced in a stay. The entire hotel felt quiet, with a calm, zen-like energy from the moment we walked into the lobby. Even the signature scent instantly put us at ease and made the whole experience feel relaxing and indulgent.
The location near Kyoto Station was absolutely perfect — central, convenient, and within easy walking distance to so many great restaurants and everything we needed during our stay.
A very special thank you to Elin and the housekeeping staff, who went above and beyond after I accidentally misplaced a ring and realised after we had checked out and left Kyoto. They not only located it, but also arranged to have it priority shipped to our next accommodation. The care and attentiveness were truly impeccable, and we can’t thank them enough for their kindness and assistance.

Be aware, too expensive for very bad hotel.
Pros:

I just liked the lobby. Rooms are far away of being confortable, mattress is like a canoe, hurts your back, there are just 2 drawers for 2 people. The view was horrendous. Without space for luggage.
Really the worse 5 stars hotel in my life.
Breakfast expensive and bad, avocado toast with jelly....not possible to warm croissant, poor choices....slow service

Exceeded expectations.
Pros:

They paid attention to every little detail. Everything was done well. One of the best fitness facilities I have seen in a hotel. Location was excellent.

Cons:

Our daughter was with us and we couldn't easily get a room that slept all 3 of us, so we ended up using one bed for all 3 of us. We inquired about a cot/crib and they wanted to charge $150 per night for it, which seems excessive. Rooms are small, but relatively par for the course in Japan.

Sehr gute Wahl. Würden jederzeit wieder hier buchen oder das Hotel weiter empfehlen.
Pros:

Die Lage gleich beim Bahnhof war optimal. Das Hotel hat sehr viel Charme und ist modern eingerichtet, ohne den Charakter zu verlieren. Frühstück war aussergewöhnlich reichhaltig und die Küche (Abendessen) war einmalig gut. Die Leute zeichnen sich aus durch hilfsbereitschaft und Kompetenz.

Cons:

Auf Grund der Lage beim Bahnhof sind die Zuggeräusche permanent zu hören, ohne allerdings störend zu sein. Aussicht darf keine erwartet werden,
