Perfect location from which to explore many areas of Kyoto.

Great location beside Kyoto Station and an exceptional facility.

The Concierge didn’t really seem to be accustomed to helping guests find local restaurants and secure much needed reservations.

Not a five star hotel and definitely not receptive to westerners.
Pros:

The room was very good. Clean and comfortable.

Cons:

You could not use the spa if you had tattoos. There was no where to sit and just have a coffee. You needed to log on to the wifi multiple times a day. The concierge was friendly but due to language unhelpful, worse sent us to the wrong place and didn’t know restaurants in the area. Breakfast was often crowded and the selection was limited.
