the worst hotel in Edirne
Pros:

The only thing that is bearable is the price. It is close to the center, but there is no place to park your car.

Cons:

The staff only speaks Turkish and there is no communication. The breakfast is poor and monotonous. There is no coffee.

The room is small and smelly. There is no water, no coffee, nothing. The bed is a mattress placed on two wooden boxes, and it is also very worn out. There is a TV, but there is no socket to turn it on. There are no sockets anywhere.
The bathroom - mold on the walls and ceiling, no vent, but the best thing is that there is no water pressure in the shower and bathing is impossible. Only cold water flows in the sink. Maybe that is why there is no hairdryer.

Pros:

Good location, good breakfast. There is Maca Hotel next to Maca Home which is a way better choice.

Cons:

It seems that the sheets were not changed after previous guests as we found hairs on it. Drainage in the bathroom was blocked and after some time water started overflowing into the room. The personell, though, was very responsive. They tried to clean the drainage immediately after we pointed out to the problem, but the problem persisted. More serious efforts are required to clean the sewerage system.

All in all, it was okay for one night stay

The location was perfect, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing

Cons:

There was no WiFi, or it had to or paid for, didn’t figure it out. The rooms were at a bit worse condition than what I hoped for. There was a confusion as I think there are two parts of the hotel - the newer MAÇA one and the older white blue one (I might be wrong). While booking the room, there were two prices online - we compared both offers and everything seemed to be exactly the same, only the price was different and we couldn’t figure it out. Maybe the one with the lower price was for where we stayed at, and the one with the higher price was for a room in a better condition? I don’t know, again, just an assumption, but it was confusing while choosing.

Pros:

Location, close to center, nice view with the Mosque

Cons:

The room was dirty, there were holes in the walls, bathroom didn't have a shower curtain, sink and faucet too small to wash your face. Bedding had short body hairs. Tv did not work. Hallway was dirty, there was no elevator. Breakfast was not enough for all the people staying there, we found the plates rather empty, left and came back 10 minute later, nothing changed. We were very dissapointed, as we stayed at Maca many times before and usually we had a great stay. Not this time. We will look for alternatives for our next stays.
