Best value in Tailem Bend, very pleasant accommodation.
Pros:

A very spacious room with clever design incorporating kitchen, study, tv watching from bith beds. Lovely big sofa. Feeling of privacy down the end of the complex and easy access if arranged for after hours. Good landscaping, and country friendliness of workers. Easy to find motel. And yummy biscuits provided.

Cons:

There's a difficulty with the strips attached to the bottom of the outside doors, which fold under and make closing the door tricky. Lifting ours by hand hurt my hand...it's the only thing that detracts from a very nice stay, so I would advise replacing any that do this.

Bed uncomfortable, Toilet facilities poor, shower facilities poor.
Pros:

The food at the Hotel was excellent, good quality and quantity.

Cons:

You had to use a common toilet/bathroom area. 1 toilet, 1 shower for all the guests on the floor. The facilities were old with peeled paint and just not maintained to a 2026 standard.

Cons:

The room smelt damp, there was no chair the lights were very dim so couldn't read. Reception had a note on its windows telling me to go to the front bar for service. As a female I dont go into front bars for any reason. Was told I was booked into a 2 single bed room with no on-suite. Thankfully that was able to be changed. There was a towel on the landing between the 2 flights of stairs clearly soaking up a leak from the roof. When I got up the next day there was a bucket on the floor at the communal kitchen catching another leak from the roof.
