Would happily use again but only with more sensible pricing.
Pros:

Staff very polite and helpful, great location with their own parking. Good breakfast. Clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Although the room was clean and comfortable I wouldn’t rate it as worth £200 per night ( £180 with booking com discount) have stayed in much nicer for less. Crab Hall is a separate building with an interior totally different to the pictures of Bagdale hall which are on the website

No significant issues but disappointing for the price.
Pros:

All of the staff were lovely; friendly, helpful and efficient. The room and bed were large, and the location is excellent.

Cons:

We were disappointed to find our room in an adjacent annex. The room decoration was basic and overall everything seemed tired, and the supplies- toiletries- were very limited.

Pros:

Cons:

Female toilet in main bar/dining area is located upstairs and walking with knee brace and a stick made it difficult. My hub had to keep watch whilst I used the gents loo.

Great stay, beautiful building.
Pros:

Breakfast was great. Plenty of choice and the staff were very welcoming to all guests that entered the breakfast room. I love this room (we've been before) as it's so calming.

Disappointed by the room
Pros:

Breakfast and staff were lovely. Bagdale Hall where breakfast was served was full of character

Cons:

No signage for Crab Hall from the road so difficult to find. Entrance to Crab Hall was an annex from the carpark which was tatty. Room was nothing like the pictures certainly not deluxe as advertised or paid for. Room was clean but was very tatty, tired and unwelcoming.

Too early for check out especially on a Sunday. Not informed that it was 3 flights of stairs up to room

No real complaints other than creaking bed but it was just a bog standard room that could of been am
Pros:

The actual main building where the restaurant and bar is was fantastic, the staff were brilliant and no complaints. The bedroom in the separate crab hall annex was just ok. It was a four poster bed but it had all the drapes removed and the room just looked Spartan. The bed creaked every time you moved in it.
The room could of been top class just with a little effort.
