Novotel Panjim - Cool place to stop
Pros:

The easy accessibility. The polite staff & beautiful environment.

Cons:

The hanger cupboard had no doors. Thus caused a bit of distraction. Not the entire room had carpet so it got bit cold after the overnight AC use. Of course the hotel did provide sleepers but they hardly matter.

Pros:

The rooms were very clean.. and the mattress is comfortable, which you would expect from a five star hotel.. but what I really liked is the customer service.. The deception, the waiters they had attention to detail and very polite.
We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the food selection included goan Delicacies along with other Indian breakfast items and Continental..

Cons:

The location is convenient but it also tends to get busy as a result.. ,›

Excellent stay and good value
Pros:

The property is well kept, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast in the restaurant was excellent each morning, with many high quality dishes available and excellent and attentive waitstaff.

Cons:

I was there during the oppressive hot season and the in-room AC was pretty weak. Its best function was to dehumidify the room, as the temperature never cooled down below 23.4 C.

Waste of money!
Pros:

The location of the hotel is central and getting local cabs to this hotel is easy!
Room service food is decent!

Cons:

So many things
1. Broken jet spray wasn’t fixed even after telling 3 times
2. Noises all thru the night by very uncouth occupants in the hotel
3. Class of people were really very bad for a hotel that charges 12k+ a night. Was full of uneducated and boisterous male occupants.
4. Didn’t feel safe at all inside the hotel
5. Staff doesn’t really care who is coming and going
6. Hygiene is average
7. Not great for solo female travellers
8. Lights kept going out and back up power was not immediate
9. Staff in the restaurant expect solo women in the restaurant to share a community table even when there are adequate empty tables
10. Not value for money at all, there are much better boutique hotels for lesser money!
11. Breakfast spread is 80% Indian food and not flavourful. The cold cuts are all stale. Don’t touch the smoked salmon at all! It was brown and had gone dry!

Friendly and Kind staff ensuring comfort for family
Pros:

The location was at the heart of Panaji.
Staff was very kind and helpful especially the kitchen staff Priti, Kim, Baby, Fiostoma.
They ensured that our baby and us were comfortable throughout our stay.

Cons:

Hotel could give a toothbrush and toothpaste in separate packaging. Many toothbrushes were thrown in the dustbin because we only needed toothpaste.
