Perfect location inside of the fort near lots of restaurants, shops.
The building itself was cool with heaps of history. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and well presented. Great location.
Galle had no power for one of the days. They did let us know about this in advance and were very apologetic about it

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel con la nostra famiglia di quattro persone, insieme ai nostri due bambini di 8 anni, e ci siamo trovati bene.
La posizione è davvero ottima: l'hotel si trova all'interno delle mura della splendida cittadina di Galle, permettendo di raggiungere in pochi minuti a piedi il faro e il lungomare, da cui si può ammirare uno splendido tramonto sul mare.
La nostra camera era ampia e confortevole. I bambini hanno dormito sul soppalco, una soluzione che hanno trovato molto divertente, anche se la scala di accesso è piuttosto ripida e richiede un po' di attenzione.
La colazione, in perfetto stile srilankese, era davvero molto abbondante e ricca di proposte locali. Purtroppo, a causa dei nostri tempi di viaggio, non abbiamo potuto gustarla con la calma che avrebbe meritato.
Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche il grazioso cortile interno, sul quale si affacciano le camere: un angolo tranquillo e rilassante che contribuisce a creare un'atmosfera accogliente e piacevole.
Consigliamo questa struttura a chi desidera visitare Galle soggiornando in una posizione strategica, in un ambiente caratteristico e ospitale.
L'unico aspetto migliorabile riguarda il bagno: sul soffitto, molto alto, era presente muffa che lasciava un leggero odore di umidità nell'ambiente. Si tratta di un dettaglio che, se risolto, renderebbe il soggiorno ancora più piacevole.
A perfect location in a building steeped in history and culture. Staff were friendly and provided an excellent service.
What a brilliant stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, the showers nice and warm, air conditioning cold and the wifi worked really well. The breakfast was traditional Sri Lankan, and the lovely lady serving us explained the different foods and how to eat it overall was a really lovely stay. The location is fantastic as well you can walk all around the forte very easily.

La struttura è molto bella, pulita e le camere sono grandi e dotate di ogni comfort. Colazione abbondante e buona. Posizione ottima. Una nota speciale a Tashmi, la ragazza dolcissima all’accoglienza che ci ha fatte sentire a casa. Molto premurosa e gentile.
Great team, went out of their way to facilitate things for us including packed breakfast for an early start.

One big issue is that there is no proper window in the bathroom, only a wooden one with multiple holes. This meant noise transported easily in and out of the room
When we arrived they told us there was a problem and we would need to go to a different location. The sheets were damp and smelt !
