Stunning bed in a prime location
Pros:

Saved being on the promenade itself, the location is pretty hard to beat. Actually, being just in a parallel street away is probably even better in term of potential noise, as the promenade can be quite lively. The room was spacious, with a nice sitting area, an extra "lazy" chair, but the crown jewel was the bed. Absolutely stunning. Never ever had I to climb stairs to get to bed.
The staff was very friendly, communicated ahead and were very accomodating in letting me storing my luggage in the entrance before and after check-in. The WiFi worked very well.

Cons:

As mentioned by others, do keep in the mind that the hotel is on the second floor, with no lift. Not a problem for me, but for people with mobility problem, enjoying the awesome bed might present a challenge.
The towels were not the freshest, but the staff were quick to change them after I mentioned it. Still not perfect, but better. One of the pillow cases had a stain on it.

Großes sauberes Zimmer für ein paar Tage Pondi ok
Pros:

Sehr großes Zimmer im Kolonialstiel. Das Zimmer war sauber. Indisches Frühstück gibt es in einem Schlauchrestaurant im Nachbarhaus. Man muss zwei Stockwerke zu Fuß rauf. Für ein paar Tage in Pondi passt das schon (die riesigen Kopfkissen waren aber schon ein Problem für uns.

Cons:

Die Kopfkissen waren sehr hart und riesig groß. Für uns nicht nutzbar wegen drohender Genickstarre! Leider gab es auf Nachfrage beim freundlichen Personal aber keine bequemeren Kopfkissen. Das sollte unbedingt geändert werden. Ansonsten war das Zimmer gut.

Hôtel très agréable
Pros:

La chambre est tres spacieuse, lumineuse et il y a des rangements pour poser ses affaires. Le lit est confortable et propre.
La vue donne sur la rue et sur les toits.
La plage est à 2 mn à pieds.
Le personnel est sympathique et serviable.

Cons:

Il manquait juste un sèche-cheveux dans la chambre et le monsieur de service m’en a donné un mural qui n’était pas très pratique à utiliser.
Les escaliers pour atteindre l’hôtel qui se trouve au 2ème étage sont un peu raides à monter.

Pros:

This place is in White Town and closest to most of the recommended places you'd want to tick off your checklist. The suite I stayed in was clean and neat. Mr. Ramesh is really helpful and made sure my stay was comfortable. I had a great stay here.

Cons:

While the price is on the higher side, it's understandable given the location and the fact that these are suites.

Okay okay stay
Pros:

The room size.

Cons:

No breakfast.
Facility has no lift, one has to climb up to 3-4 floors. Elders should not book this property.
Tea coffee mixes were almost expired.

In the centre
Pros:

Location, the kind staff and the spacious room.

Cons:

In the room and the bathroom a general cleaning is much needed, especially the mirrors. The bedding and the towels are spotted. There are spider webs in some corners. There was an smelly opened bier bottle in the fridge.

Clean hotel close to the promenade beach not suitable for people with walking difficulties
Pros:

Location, friendly staff and the size of the room. That's about it.

Cons:

The first impressions. The entrance to the hotel and the steps leading up to the hotel. This place is not for someone with walking difficulties. The hotel is on the second floor and there is no lift. The bathroom had a constant stagnant water type smell. There was some construction work going on below the hotel during the day.

Greatly enjoyed the huge well lit rooms, a stone throw away from the beach and white town.
Pros:

Clean and big rooms. Beach is about 5 mins walk. The owner was very helpful and courteous.

Cons:

Nothing as such. One thing to note is that there is no lift and it is on the second floor.

Pros:

The rooms are huge and very well maintained. Everything is at the right place and all facilities available. Absolutely loved everything

Ramesh the manager has been very cordial and made us extremely comfortable.

Cons:

It's not a negative but there's no elevator so might be an issue for oldies.

Pros:

The place was very clean & neat. I had a good connection with WIFI. This was the first good surprise. Second was the location very close to facilities and beach. I would come again and recommend this place.
The room was exactly as shown on pictures.
Particular mention to Ramesh who gave a good service 🙏.

Pros:

The Hotel location (White Town) is near to beach, temple, Aravind ashram,park and french quarter. Hotel staff Mr.Ramesh hospitality is really appreciated.

Cons:

Hotel located at second floor without lift , it will be difficult for aged people.

Pros:

Beautiful room w/ windows that opened

Cons:

TV channels very limited… no English speaking movies. MOSQUITOES that bit me ALOT until I started using lotion even before bed.
