Pros:

The staff was really amazing, polite patient and was very helpful. The Chef Kioko made really good food and diverse at that. Alice at the reception was absolutely helpful every second you needed her. Yvonne, Amina and Rose were our favourite waitresses, very respectful, and great at their job. The stay was very good and seamless. The rooms were nicely cleaned every day essentials were readily provided. The view from the rooms was absolutely gorgeous as well...Dennis the Taekwondo instructor was also very nice to us and also respectful. He made morning fitness time a thing to look forward to. Generally we had a great time and we would definitely have a stay again.

עם ההגעה למלון, הם סירבו לתת לי 2 חדרים עם נוף לים למרות שהצגתי להם את השובר. הם טענו שיש להם סוג חדר אחר והתעלמו מהשובר שלי, בטענה שהמחשב שלהם הוא שקבע זאת. לא קיבלנו את מה ששילמנו עבורו. בנוסף, הם טענו שנאלצנו לשלם עבור ארוחת צהריים. רק כשהוצג השובר לפנסיון מלא הם ויתרו.
האוכל בחדר האוכל היה מקולקל והעוף הריח רע ובארוחות אחרות הוא היה מבושל יתר על המידה ולא אכיל.
שיפוצים בוצעו בערב ליד החדרים והרעש היה מטריד..
סיור רגלי מהמלון לאי צ'אלה הוזמן בשעה 9 בבוקר והם התחייבו לתוכנית הסיור. למעשה, בבוקר הם העבירו את הסיור אחר הצהריים וטענו במהלך השייט שלא ניתן לרדת לאי מכיוון שלא בוצעה הזמנה מראש. שוב, כסף ששולם על כלום.
הבריכה מלוכלכת, אין שקט בחוף הפרטי, סוחרים מקומיים מציקים עד שעובדי המלון מתערבים.
אני ממליץ לא להגיע למלון ולהשקיע את כספכם במקום אחר..
חבל שהחופשה שלנו נהרסה בגלל התנהגות המלון.

Warm ocean breeze in Musamweni
Pros:

The YU property is very quiet and surrounded by beautiful trees. The clean beach is near two magical islands that can be explored by foot.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The food was by far the worst I have ever experienced — tasteless and poorly prepared. The selection was very limited and felt completely uninspired, as if no effort had been made to care about quality or the guest experience. Several dishes were frequently unavailable.

The service was just as bad. The staff appeared uninterested, rude, and unwilling to help. Overall, the hotel gave an impression of a complete lack of professionalism. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely not be returning.

Fint ställe med trevlig personal.
Pros:

Det är ett fint boende med ett väldigt bra läge vid havet. Det finns två poolområden att använda och många gemensamhetsutrymmen. Personalen är vänlig.

Cons:

Det finns inte mycket att tillgå i närområdet. Vistelsen kan bli långtråkig och enformig för längre vistelser. Strömavbrott sker dagligen trots att fastigheten har solceller. Inget tillgång till träning, mer än några däck och badminton rack.Matutbudet var väldigt ensidigt och endast en maträtt att välja av, vilket kan begränsa för kräsna personer. Detta gäller frukost, lunch och middag.

A ruined vacation

The hotel is generally beautiful

Cons:

Bad food
Slow service, you can ask for something, and they don't respond.
They have no activities or they didn't initiate any for making the stay interesting therefore is boring..we just had to ask for stuff to try and make our own.

The Location is top notch 👌

Cons:

The food was horrible, for that price you pay you expect better food. They tell you they have Buffet but just one choice. Forget the Time table they set, put 30 minutes on that frame to have something to eat. The Prices for the Drinks are way to much.
The Personal was most of the time not good, especially the Kitchen personnel.

Pros:

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the view was absolutely amazing. We were given the Presidential Suite as promised, which was a great experience.

However, despite the high price and the fact that breakfast, lunch, and dinner were included, the food was extremely disappointing. The quality did not match the standard expected for a Presidential Suite or the price we paid.

While the service and views were excellent, the poor food experience significantly affected our overall stay.

We loved the place. It is quite a trip from Mombasa (at least 2 hours by car).
Pros:

The resort is located in a nice setting, the pools are nice, the beach is quiet and the water is easily accessible (not too many rocks etc.). We were not bothered by vendors.

Cons:

The only thing that can be improved is the food. The quality of the food is OK, but there is limited choice.

Pros:

The hotel is modern and new, rooms are big and very clean, beds are comfortable ,A/C and fan were ok. The balcony was nice also. The staff are pleasant but inexperienced.

Cons:

The food portions were small, buffet options minimal, african style of cooking, coffee was terrible although from the machine,power cuts were frequent, shortage of clean towels, beach in front of hotel wasn't clean. It seems like a hotel needs a good manager because everything seems a little chaotic.

Pros:

Breakfast was amazing, I loved how they kept us guessing each morning. And the staff were so homely. Loved the TV TOO

Cons:

The beach wasn’t giving, we understand that is nature though. However, a big resort like this shouldn’t have internet issues, one router for the whole property surely??

Cons:

So called influencers, hired by YU resort to promote the hotel, made a lot of noise all evening and night. Very disturbing. Staff is great but total lack of senior management. Food not great and very limited choices

Es war nett und die Unterkunft ist in Ordnung. Aber für den Preis hätten wir mehr erwartet.
Pros:

Der Gegend ist recht ruhig, nicht überlaufen.

Das Resort scheint noch recht neu zu sein, daher ist alles in gutem Zustand. Es ist sauber und nett eingerichtet.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Es gibt kostenloses Trinkwasser.
Grundsätzlich gibt es überall guten WLAN Empfang.

Cons:

- Das Essen (Vollpension) ist qualitativ in Ordnung, aber nicht das was man bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel erwarten könnte. Das meiste sind recht einfache Gerichte, die man überall woanders für wenig Geld bekommt.

- Getränke (und Speisen von der Karte) sind sehr überteuert - wesentlich über dem Preisniveau vieler Restaurants

- Der Strom fällt recht regelmäßig aus mit Auswirkung auf WLAN und Ventilatoren/Klimaanlage. Das ist verständlich aber bei dem Preis kann man mehr erwarten.

- Der Strandabschnitt vor dem Hotel ist voll von Algen. Während Nachbarn diese entfernt haben, stapelt sich diese am Abschnitt vor dem Resort.

Could have been better
