Jederzeit gerne wieder
Pros:

Tolle Einsteigerlodge für Gäste, die das erste mal nach Namibia kommen. Sehr guter Service und sehr gutes Essen.
Die Tiere kann man, bis auf Elefanten, alle am Wasserloch, welches super von den Chalets bzw. von der Restaurantterrasse einsichtig ist, beobachten.

Schöne Game Lodge in der Nähe von Omaruru. Familienfreundlich.
Pros:

Schöne Chalets, direkt an einem Wasserloch. Sehr gutes Abendessen.

Pros:

Meeting the elephants was the absolute high light.

Cons:

Needs a good clean in and out.
Smells like a farm.
Stuffed animals everywhere in the dining room.
Dirty pool and area, not enough sun beds for guests.

Pros:

Der nahe Kontakt mit Elefanten und Nashörnern war etwas sehr Besonderes.
Das Personal ist extrem freundlich. Das Essen ausgezeichnet. Alles in allem en sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Cons:

Das Wasserloch könnte sauberer sein und exotische Vögel gehören nicht dahin.

Pros:

The animal feeding in the evening is really what makes the lodge wonderful. The animals come very close and that was a nice experience. Breakfast was just okay but the homemade bread was delicious.

Cons:

The food, including dinner, was disappointing. For dinner on new year's eve we chose Fish curry and basmati rice from the two options for main course. We got normal bar-boiled rice and not basmati rice as described on the menu which I don't mind but the menu should reflect what you're really getting. The dish also came in a pasta bowl with a heap of rice and a lot of curry poured on top. In terms of flavour, it was average and nothing to write home about. The salads we were served were also weird for me. For the amount you pay, I expect better plating at the very least (rice molded on a flat plate and the curry served seperately in a small bowl so that we can determined how much curry we want to mix with the rice ourselves). I have had better food at cheaper places honestly. So you really are paying for seeing the animals only. The room also lets a lot of light in at night and I did not sleep well in the 2 nights we spent there, they would do well to get proper black out curtains and cover the frosted glass door into the room.

Perfekte Oase mit super Safari
Pros:

Ein so schöner, sauberer und preiswerter Rückzugsort. Das Personal ist super freundlich, der Pool ist sauber und die ganze Anlage ist wunderschön. Die Safari ist die mit Abstand beste in ganz Namibia und muss unbedingt gemacht werden. Ich war bereits zum zweiten Mal dort und werde wiederkommen! Einfach eine 11/10🐘
