Our stay at Omaruru Game Lodge was absolutely perfect.
Pros:

The wildlife viewing here is truly in a league of its own.. Seeing the animals up close in their natural habitat was breathtaking.

The food was, quite simply, amazing. Every meal was a gourmet event.

Awesome staff. Friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Fantastische Lodge mit unvergesslichen Tier-Begegnungen im privaten Game Reserve!
Pros:

Extrem schöne Lodge, geräumige und hübsche Bungalows, super leckeres Essen und fantastische Erlebnisse am Wasserloch und auf dem Game Drive. Unser Guide Mwahafa hat uns ein unvergessliches Erlebnis im privaten Game Reserve geboten, mit vielen spannenden Infos und Begegnungen. Die Elefanten waren sehr nah am Auto und fast zahm, die einen konnte man sogar streicheln. Auch weitere Tiere konnte man sehr nah erleben, einfach spektakulär. Ich würde diese Lodge nicht vor Etosha besuchen, lieber danach, ansonsten ist man von Etosha fast enttäuscht.
Die Nashörner werden mit Futter ans Wasserloch gelockt, wo man sie sehr eindrücklich und nah beobachten kann. Der Aufenthalt hat sich sehr gelohnt! Vielen Dank!

Wir sind leider sehr enttäuscht.
Pros:

Insgesamt war der Besuch hier in Ordnung, aber für uns leider sehr enttäuschend.
Wir haben uns vorab sehr auf diese Unterkunft gefreut und waren total euphorisch.
Die Mitarbeiter hier waren sehr bemüht und überaus freundlich.
Aber insgesamt gab es doch leider einige Dinge, die uns wirklich gestört haben und uns im Nachhinein zu dieser Bewertung veranlasst haben.
Da die Tiere hier angefüttert werden, gleicht es leider keinem schönen authentischen Afrikafeeling. Hier fühlte man sich vielmehr wie im Zoo. Sowohl bei der Fütterung an der Lodge als auch bei der Elefantenfütterung während des Gamedrives. Hier fühlten wir uns hier auch nicht unbedingt immer sicher. Müssen Tiere wirklich gefüttert werden?
Am Wasserloch vor der Terrasse hat es wirklich ganz ganz unangenehm gerochen. Hier konnten wir leider abends nach dem Essen nicht mehr sitzen. Auch wenn wir wirklich gerne noch mit einem Drink draußen gesessen hätten. Dies war wirklich unmöglich.
Auch an der Auswahl des Essens sollte noch gearbeitet werden. Am Abend gab es als Vorspeise Salat und für die Vegetarier als Hauptgang ebenfalls Salat. Nach einem langen Tag ist dies dann eher kein Menü, was einen satt macht.
Und für den hohen Preis, den man hier für eine Nacht zahlt, haben wir tatsächlich anderes erwartet...
Auch wenn die Zimmer und die Anlage insgesamt sehr schön und liebevoll waren und die Mitarbeiter wirklich freundlich und hilfsbereit, hat uns diese Unterkunft doch wirklich sehr enttäuscht.

Great wildlife experience, would return again.
Pros:

The highlight of our stay was definitely the wildlife experience. The game drives were enjoyable and clearly a major draw for visitors. It was especially reassuring to see that the animals appear well cared for, healthy, and thriving.

We also found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which always makes a difference. Cleanliness was excellent across the lodge, and the rooms themselves were decent—certainly more comfortable than some of the other accommodations we experienced during our trip.

Cons:

The main disappointment for us was the food. It felt like very little effort was put into the menu and preparation. For example, a vegetarian starter described as beetroot carpaccio seemed to be little more than pre-prepared beetroot sliced and served, which was underwhelming. Overall, both the vegetarian and meat options lacked creativity and quality, and this is an area that could be significantly improved.

The overall design and atmosphere of the lodge also felt quite dated. While we understand that renovations take significant funds, both the dining area and parts of the accommodation have a heavy, dark, outdated style. There is so much potential to modernize the interiors with a lighter, more contemporary African aesthetic.

The dining experience itself could also be improved—chairs in the dining room and outdoor areas were uncomfortable, and the décor (including animal heads and a dim, somewhat dusty ambiance) made the space feel less inviting. Additionally, while thatched roofs look charming, they can be impractical, as they obstruct views from certain rooms.

Viele Tiere
Pros:

Schöne Lodge mit ganz viel Nähe zu den Tieren.
Zum Abend kommen die Zebras, Elends, Gnus, Giraffen und auch die Nashörner an das Wasserloch. Auch wenn dieses durch anfüttern passiert, hat man nicht das Gefühl negativ in die Natur einzugreifen. Bei einem Spaziergang durch den Busch oder auch beim Gamedrive kann man erleben, auf welchem grossen Raum sie leben. Für uns ein schönes Erlebnis zum Schluss unserer Reise
Zum Entspannen lädt der Pool ruhig im Grünen ein. Man kann viele Vögel sehen und auf den Liegen, das nicht immer stabile Internet genießen

Cons:

Das Internet ist sehr instabil, aber so ist Afrika.
Für den doch relativ hohen Preis, hätte ich, z. B am Pool etwas mehr Service erwartet. Einfach mal nach Getränken fragen.

Pros:

Beautiful Lodge, outstanding friendly and relaxed atmosphere, nice pool, good food. Especially perfect for families, as you can get really close to the animals. We had a game drive, which was fantastic, and also the walking safari, where they allow kids, is highly recommended. We would love to come back.

Sehr schöne Anlage, gepflegt.Das Zimmer mit Ausstattung war sehr gut.

Cons:

Das Frühstücksbüfett , inklusive Geschirr,Gläser wurde nicht aufgefüllt.Ein Zweischeiben Toaster ist nicht ausreichend . Servicekräfte wirkten überfordert.

Très décevant…
Cons:

Nous avons été très déçus… nous nous attendions à quelque chose d’authentique, de nature, en réalité nous nous sommes sentis davantage comme dans un parc d’attraction ou un zoo. Tout est payant, y compris le game drive, en dépit du prix de départ. La nourriture servie au restaurant était médiocre en comparaison avec ce que nous avons mangé ailleurs en Namibie. Alors oui, on voit des animaux, mais ils sont très lourdement nourris pas le staff…
