Fiji Gateway Hotel is a very convenient and pleasant place to stay, literally just a five-minute walk from Nadi Airport.
The rooms were very clean, fresh-smelling and comfortable, and overall we had a very good experience. In fact, we stayed here twice during our trip, which probably says enough.
The service was generally good, although occasionally some of the ladies at reception or in the restaurant seemed a little less enthusiastic — a few facial expressions and eye-rolls here and there. We decided to take it as part of the adventure, and in the end it became quite a funny experience. :)
Apart from that, a really nice airport hotel — clean, comfortable, extremely convenient and a place we were happy to return to.
Definitely recommended, especially for a stay before or after a flight from Nadi Airport.
One thing that definitely could be improved is the Wi-Fi policy. Even when booking a room for a family of four, only two devices can connect to the internet. If you want to connect more devices, you have to pay extra. In 2026, especially for a four-person room, this feels unnecessarily restrictive.

A bit pricey breakfast for what you get

Restaurant was problematic. One meal was lukewarm and rice was lumpy, cold and not fresh. We ended up cancelling dessert because service was so slow.
All over environment, greenery, birds, flowers , nice clean pool area.
Not a bad as an overnight stay before departing early the following morning.
Food was a bit average and staff got our order wrong.
There wasn't anything of interest in the surrounding area, but if you're looking for a location close to the airport for an early next day flight, it's perfect. It took us 5 mins (max) to walk from the front door of the hotel to the departure area at the airport. Super ideal for this reason. I wouldn't recommend booking purely on the basis of your holiday/trip (as no beaches around there or anywhere you would take a walk to) - but for convenience for the airport it was great! Nice pools, good food/restaurant area, and nice/modern room.
Check in was meant to be 2pm, and we weren't able to access our room until 3.30pm as they were still cleaning
