Great rooms and terrific neighborhood for being off the beaten path yet close to great restaurants.
Pros:

The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. We also loved staying in this part of town - away from the hustle bustle of the city but still in access to tons of high quality restaurants.

オシャレ。

Cons:

せっかく二条城前にあるのに木でほとんど見えない。
ベッド横の照明が触れると熱い
何故かコンセントが引き出しの中にあるので使いにくい。
化粧鏡の電気の消し方が分からない
化粧机の下のコンセント付近のホコリが多い。
電気ケトルに水が溜まっている。
トイレの鍵の立て付けが悪く調整しないと閉められなかった
お風呂のバスタブ側の蛇口が浴槽側に突き出ていて危ない

Nice staff and service but the room is a bit depressing

Hotel muy bonito, cómodo, tranquilo y habitaciones espaciosas.

Cons:

Precio alto por nuestra habitación, ya que las vistas buenas son solo de las habitaciones de lujo/muy caras para nuestro presupuesto. Lo aconsejo más bien para parejas que quieren ofrecerse un capricho. Para familias o como yo madre viajando con su hija, mejor un hotel con más ambiente y no tan exclusivo.

Salle de bain bien avec une baignoire qui pourrait être un plus mais qui est très inconfortable

Amazing, relaxing hotel with beautiful views
Pros:

Staff were so kind & welcoming, 5 star service. I had booked this hotel as a treat for my last few days in Japan and it was so worth it, I felt like I was in my own private spa. So relaxing, such a beautiful hotel. Depending what room you have booked, you may get an amazing view of Nijo-Jo castle which was amazing to wake up to on a morning. Great location, local shops and convenience stores just a walk away. I cannot fault the staff - all the ladies on the front desk were so kind and made me feel looked after. The bar is lovely too, great non alcoholic drinks and lovely to sit outside and people watch on a warm day.

Cons:

The only thing I will say is, the guests above were quite noisy and could hear them stomping around - obviously this is not the hotels fault but sound proofing could be better.

A jewel of a find in central Kyoto.
Pros:

Loved the calming, boutique feel of the hotel right in Central Kyoto but away from the cut and thrust of downtown which can be overwhelming. Super conveniently located opposite Nijo Castle and near fabulous local shops, cafes and eateries. Staff are delightful and helpful and the whole experience felt very thoughtful.

Cons:

The only thing is that the rooms were quite dark and I wish there had been some small plates.
