Area not recommended for those travelling with kids
The reception Staff were great and friendly. I think they are the best asset of the hotel.
When I arrived in the hotel they said for me to look for another hotel because they were without energy and they didn't refund me
The bed was comfortable
There was a fire in the hotel. No fire alarm went off. Fire service arrived and I asked them if we needed to evacuate and they said no. No staff anywhere. Left room, corridor full of smoke. Went to enjoy Madrid and got back to hotel to find it was closed with all our stuff locked inside. Tried to call number on door but no answer. We then spent 15 minutes trying to get into the hotel to retrieve our stuff before being let in. Guy was rude and I asked why he did not contact us, but as it was a foreign number they refused to call it. Tried to move us to sister hotel in the arse end of nowhere and I refused. We were then left homeless in Madrid. I will be taking this further. Stay here at your peril!

It was newly renovated so clean and fresh. Shower pressure is amazing
The walls are very thin. And the single glaze in the windows means you here everything outside. Rooms were cold. We were there in March. Once you were in bed it was fine.
