The breakfast was delightful, soo fresh and tasty.
The location was convenient for us, no stress at at all.
Should of mentioned that building construction was taking place.

Breakfast was basic but sufficient. Staff went out of thier way to accomodate out of serving times. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The host Tracy was amazing and did her best to accomodate every request.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The facilities are well maintained and the place is just an absolutely charming. The bedroom was lovely , very cozy. I was impressed by every little detail that was thought through - the hidden storage for plugs , TV and kitchenette.
The access/Exit at the at the gate is a bit delayed at times.
Close to where I needed to be. Lovely comfortable room. Nice and quiet venue.

Proposition de soins sur place. J'ai eu Conni pendant 3h. Très professionnel, j'en suis sortie entièrement détendue.
A environ 30mn de l'aéroport international avec proposition de transfert. Je recommande vivement & y retournerai dès que possible ;0)
The staff, especially Tracy, were incredible! I also really liked hearing frogs call at night and all the birds that are around. It really felt like a little piece of nature was right there.

From the moment we arrived at Hotel Nomad Belvedere Lodge, we were impressed by the warm welcome and the impeccable cleanliness of the property. The lodge is beautifully maintained, with a serene atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed the moment you step inside. Every corner of the place reflects care and attention to detail.
What really made our stay exceptional, however, was the staff — especially Tracy. She went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and taken care of throughout our visit. Her friendliness, professionalism, and local knowledge added a personal touch that truly made a difference. It’s rare to meet someone so genuine and dedicated, and Tracy made our experience unforgettable.
Overall, the lodge is a hidden gem — peaceful, spotless, and run by people who clearly care about their guests. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-managed place to stay. Thank you, Tracy, and the whole team at Belvedere Lodge!
Nothing bad to saying.
The location is good. It's quiet until the planes fly above you. Nonetheless good location.
The room is extremely dark. Very good for sleeping however if you want to lounge in the day not so much.
WiFi was not working.
I had hot water for 2 minutes in my shower and the water went cold.
House keeping didn't clean my room on my second night.
The environment
The place is a bit old and needs a revamp, but there's construction on site. Perhaps there's something being done

I especially loved that the roof was thatched. It was stunning and spacious.
But what truly got me were the workers from the cooks to the cleaning lady to the man who watched the gates, everyone was super friendly and brilliant!! especially Tracey, who went above and beyond to make our stay remarkable.
I found a home in South Africa and trust me to be back whenever I’m in South Africa.
I love and miss you guys!!

I did not have the breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was reasonably comfortable.
When I arrived at 6 pm, there was a very loud open-air event/party in happening nearby. I was told it should finish by about 8 pm. They would call the police if it went on for too long. It went on non-stop until 12:30 am. Sleep was impossible, and I had to leave early in the morning.
Additionally the room had a thatch roof and despite taking a hay fever pill, I sneezed a huge amount.
Furthermore, the taps in the shower had so much play, it was impossible to regulate the temperature at all.
This was the nicest stay we have had in Johannesburg. Easy to find but out of the way. Tracy and the rest of the staff were amazing. The accommodations were beautiful. Facilities were just perfect. The gardens were beautiful. We relaxed every minute of our stay. We will definitely book here next time. ❤️
