Base to discover Palermo
Pros:

Good location at the centre of Palermo with easy access to major attractions. Kind and helpful host who speaks good English. Spacious room and shower. Access to the kitchen (shared with one other room). Access to the roof terrace with nice views over Palermo.

Cons:

Noisy in the room at night (we heard other guests coughing and speaking). No fridge in the kitchen.

Ταξιδέψαμε στο Παλέρμο με την ομάδα μας, για να συμμετάσχουμε στον Διεθνή Ημιμαραθώνιο του Παλέρμο. Ανάμεσα στις πολλές όμορφες εμπειρίες αυτού του ταξιδιού, η διαμονή μας στο Casa Rosa θα έχει μια ξεχωριστή θέση στις αναμνήσεις μας.

Και ο λόγος έχει δύο ονόματα: Nelli και Μιχάλης!

Υπάρχουν καταλύματα που σου προσφέρουν ένα μέρος για να μείνεις και υπάρχουν άνθρωποι που σε κάνουν να αισθάνεσαι πραγματικά ευπρόσδεκτος. Η Nelli και ο Μιχάλης ανήκουν στη δεύτερη κατηγορία. Με την ευγένεια, τη ζεστασιά, το ενδιαφέρον και την αυθεντική τους φιλοξενία, έδωσαν στη διαμονή μας εκείνη την ανθρώπινη διάσταση που καμία περιγραφή και καμία φωτογραφία δεν μπορούν να αποτυπώσουν.

Για εμάς, που ταξιδέψαμε ως αθλητική ομάδα, η εμπειρία αυτή είχε ακόμη μεγαλύτερη σημασία. Ένα ταξίδι για έναν αγώνα δρόμου δεν είναι μόνο τα χιλιόμετρα που διανύεις στον αγώνα, αλλά και οι άνθρωποι που συναντάς, οι στιγμές που μοιράζεσαι και οι αναμνήσεις που παίρνεις μαζί σου.

Η Nelli και ο Μιχάλης έγιναν ένα από τα ομορφότερα κομμάτια αυτής της εμπειρίας.

Φύγαμε από το Παλέρμο με όμορφες εικόνες, νέες αναμνήσεις και την αίσθηση ότι αφήσαμε πίσω μας δύο ανθρώπους που αξίζει να ξανασυναντήσουμε.

Ένα μεγάλο, ειλικρινές "ευχαριστώ" και στους δύο!

Από την Αρχαία Ολυμπία, τη γενέτειρα των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων, στο Παλέρμο, το μήνυμα παραμένει το ίδιο: ο αθλητισμός ενώνει ανθρώπους και η αληθινή φιλοξενία χτίζει γέφυρες.

Pros:

Terasa byla úžasná i když neudržovaná. To nám ale nebranilo nijak ve výhledu. Paní, co nás ubytovávala byla milá a uměla skvěle anglicky. Další výhoda je parkování - lze parkovat na parkovišti 100 metrů od ubytování bez poplatku ZTL.

Cons:

Nemáme úplně co vytknout, možná bych zapracovala více na úklidu a také na pravidelné údržbě zařízení.

Enorme veel herrie van de andere appartementen ( wc/ douche etc), de hond van de verhuurder blafte een deel van de avond, het was niet schoon en erg oud.

The owners are so welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Lovely people to deal with.
The area is perfect and quiet at night. There's a lift in the property.

Cons:

I was expecting more after reading previous reviews. The room was big but completely occupied by a huge bed. There wasn't enough room to comfortably walk around. The walls are paper thin, so good luck with sleeping if your neighbours are talking or watching a movie. You can hear absolutely everything.

Perfect location
Pros:

Great location right in town centre and free carpark 3 mins away. Elevator so no carrying heavy cases , and the hosts were exceptionally friendly.

Cons:

The beds and pillows were a bit hard, lumpy for.me but we are in out 60s!! it was fine for one night, and great value .

Ubytování bylo moc hezké, majitelé se nám snažili s našimi prosbami vyjít vstříc. Uvítaní bylo vstřícné. Pokoj čistý, velká postel. Terasa fantastická, nikdo ji nevyužíval - takže byla pro nás ideální místo na snídaně i večeře.

Cons:

Jsou to jen drobnosti. V kuchyňce bylo napr. hrozne moc příboru, ale napr. žádný hrnec, nebo poradny nuz na řezaní, chyběla utěrka na nádobí. A vlastně kdybychom si nenapsali, tak by nám koš ze společné mistnosti z druhým pokojem nebyl vysypán. Ale jak jsem psala v kladných hodnoceni jakmile jsme napsali, vše bylo ok.

Lovely stay in Casa Rosa, a place i'd love to go back to in the heart of the Capo area of Palermo
Pros:

breakfast wasn't included in my booking, and there was no need. the upstair rooftop terrace was a fantastic place to enjoy a great view and your own breakfast (plus the kitchen in the shared apartment was good enough). i loved the localization and the kindness of the owners, their easy going attitude granting freedom and privacy to the guests. i loved the room, which was spacious (3rd floor, No.6) and with a very big bathroom and nice tiles on the floor. simply decorated with vintage furniture that gave class and a touch of originality to the stay. there is a small lift which is very useful and once again, the rooftop in the early morning grants a spectacular view of the cathedral, the mountains around Palermo and much more. great dawns there. And its so close to the Mercado del Capo and the Teatro Massimo and the Cathedral.

Cons:

Honestly nothing come to mind about negative aspects.

Ωραίο μεγάλο δωμάτιο,ωραία θέα,κοντά στο κέντρο αλλά εκτυφλωτικός ήλιος το πρωί.

Δεν έχει σκούρες κουρτίνες ούτε πατζούρια και ο ήλιος σε χτυπάει στα μάτια μόλις ανατείλει και αντανακλάται σε δύο τεράστιους καθρέφτες και δεν έχεις ελπίδα να κοιμηθείς αν δεν έχεις μάσκα για τα μάτια.Ο δρόμος είναι βρώμικος με σκουπίδια όπως κι όλο το Παλέρμο.

Posizione centrale dietro cattedrale di Palermo.
Presente in casa il phon.
L'acqua calda.
Caffettiera con caffè a disposizione.
Arredamento antico.
Letto molto comodo.

Cons:

La terrazza troppo trascurata, anche perché la nostra scelta per il pernottamento si basava principalmente su quello, ma le foto non rappresentano purtroppo il vero.

Nel bagno presente l'essenziale, non ci sono appendini per gli asciugamani e il doccino della doccia è completamente rotto.
