Amenities, location, and dining options. It was clean, quiet, and exceeded my expectations.
No complaints.
Location but there are several newer hotels within a couple minutes.
Very old despite numerous renovations. We may as well not had a door, the hallway noise was very loud. Probably due to 1/2" or more gap near the floor.
I will stay elsewhere in the future when I come back to Nacogdoches on vacation.
Beautiful
Prices
Location
The price of everything. Restaurant was way too expensive. The prices at the bar were outrageous.
2 pools and good restaurants on site
Stayed in a double room with pool view. I like the history of the hotel and that some of the hotel was left the way it was when built. There's a coffee maker in the room (sadly, with just two caffeinated coffee pods - I looked for someone to ask whether I could get two more but there was no one at the reception with just a number to call, but it wasn't exactly an emergency so I didn't bother). The room was clean. Breakfast was great, beds were comfy.
Bathroom was very small with no shelves to put your toiletries. The room was quite small, too, and not very cozy. The breakfast room could do with some plants and pictures. It wants to have a 50s/60s charm but it's pretty bland.
Walked to town for a coffee and pastry I think at the
Stone Kitchen. If I knew you had good coffee and a breakfast maybe we would have tried it.
Close to downtown.
Electricity power kept going out throughout the day and night. Room was not as nice as the price Inpaid for it.
It’s lovely and vintage. The beds were super comfortable and everything is so well kept.
Because it was graduation from SFA University the prices were higher than we have paid in the past.
Manager was really great
Liked everything
The hotel had plenty of parking and the inside renovation was appealing. Good staff service.
The rooms were very small, with no plug for the coffee machine - a card advised us to move the coffee machine to an outlet. Little room for a bag. Very large hook in the bathroom that didn't fit the toiletry bag.
