The Blue Wave Hotel

Very clean new property with pool. Felt like my own apartment without a kitchen.

Location is not great. Photos and reality of the property does not match.

Le personnel à la réception était accueillant et professionnel, la chambre était propre, et même si nous n’avions pas la vue sur mer attendue, les transats proposés à la plage et le parking en sous-sol sont des atouts appréciables. En revanche, l’isolation laissait à désirer, et nous entendions les pas des occupants du dessus.

Wir haben uns im Blue Wave sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die Lage ist perfekt gewesen, nur zwei Minuten von Strand entfernt und trotzdem privat in zweiter Reihe gelegen, sodass man auch entspannt seine Schwimmsachen zum trocknen raushängen konnte. Am Strand bietet das Hotel eigene bequeme Liegen und Schirme an. Das Hotel ist modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber gewesen. Die einzige kleine Einschränkung war, dass das Gebäude etwas hellhörig ist worauf man sich bei leichtem Schlaf einstellen muss.
Für uns war das Hotel ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu Fuß in der Umgebung, mit dem Auto (Tiefgaragenplatz) für weitere Strecken oder mit dem Kajak, dass man sich an jedem größeren Strand ausleihen konnte.
Wir würden jederzeit wieder ins Blue Wave kommen!

Hôtel bien situé avec une plage privée a proximité (traversé une rue).
Piscine hyper sympa avec transats disponibles.
Literie à revoir.
Pas de bar,ni de quoi faire la restauration meme si tout se trouve a proximité.

Nice location with parking and the private beach with loungers was great!

The shower was ok and the room was small but totally worth it for the private beach! Very walkable location to a bunch of restaurants!

This is not a bad hotel. But it's a little half-baked still. It's an odd reworking of an existing apartment building. No coffee in the room. The shower is a little awkward and will run out of hot water if you're in there for a while, but most won't be taking a shower for that long anyway. They do restock fresh soap daily from Lush which we enjoyed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Don't stay here if you need everything to be perfect. Stay here if you're gonna be spending all your time at the beach and doing other activities all day and just coming back to rinse off and get horizontal.

We recently stayed at this establishment and, unfortunately, we are left with a very mixed impression. From the moment we arrived, we felt a heavy, unwelcoming atmosphere. A group of four staff members regularly sat around a table near the entrance, and made no effort to hide their behavior — every time we passed by, the two seated with their backs to us would turn around simultaneously, accompanied by whispering and persistent staring. This kind of conduct is both inappropriate and unsettling in a place meant to offer relaxation and hospitality.

Throughout our stay, we received no greetings or signs of courtesy from the staff — except, ironically, on the morning of our departure, when one of them finally spoke to me, not to say hello, but to curtly remind me that it was our last day, just as I was heading to the pool at 10:00 AM (despite check-out being at 11:30 AM).

In terms of organization, we were surprised to be given only one room key for two people, which made it difficult to manage our activities independently. After requesting a second key, it was handed to us without any explanation or comment. It was only on the third day — when we mentioned at the front desk that our room still hadn’t been cleaned in the morning — that we received a message blaming us for “monopolizing both keys.” This was the first time we were told that the hotel only had two keys per room: one for the guests and one for housekeeping.

In conclusion unwelcoming staff, poor service, unpleasant

location was perfect, front desk was perfect, could not be better! unfortunately for the price we did not sleep good, we had pain in our back, tha matress was not for us. also if they could serve breakfast it would be great! but there are a lot of foos options in the street

We had the best time at the Blue Wave Hotel!! Would absolutely stay there again when we come back to Himare. Everyone who works there was so kind and the room/pool was amazing!! Couldn’t recommend more. 10/10. Thank you to everyone at the Blue Wave Hotel for making our stay so special!!
