Our trip to South Africa is not easy, but we met kind and warm people. The staff in this hotel were all kind , helpful and enthusiastic.
I have to admit the facilities could be better , but the staff would really do their best to make us feel comfortable and would do their best to fix things.
It was a rare experience, the hotel is quite old, I bet it was great during its prime. Again, it felt like I was in a movie. We love the retro vibe.
Location wise, I would choose a place close to the mall so I can just walk. But if you are familiar with the place , this is fine.
There's none, but if I may suggest , they can put more plants in the front so the entrance would have a nice ambience .
No shower.
- The breakfast was not appetising at all. They had put some egg on bread and the bread had soaked up all the oil....and that was even before we could put it on our plates, not that we did either. It was quite limited and all I had was bacon before leaving to go have breakfast somewhere else.
- I had to bath with cold water on a cold morning.
- The bar opens from 7:30pm.
