Goed voor een paar dagen in de stad
Pros:

Het hotel ligt op een fijne locatie. In het drukke oude centrum maar net op een rustig stuk. De mensen bij de receptie zijn super vriendelijk. Alex en ha chu zijn allebei gastvrij en behulpzaam. Hebben goede tips en helpen graag

Cons:

Tussentijdse cleaning van de kamer zou fijn zijn maar niet noodzakelijk

Very nice stay!
Pros:

Very nice, friendly, clean, quiet little hotel in a great location. I had a double room and it looked exactly as beautiful as on the photos. The furniture was a bit worn but that just made it more charming. I had a room on the sixth floor with a good view. You get the usual noise from the street but the area isn't too loud and I always sleep with earplugs anyway so I heard nothing. There are only two rooms on every floor so it also is not too loud from other guests. The staff like Alex and Ha Chu are all very cheerful and helpful. I booked a tour to Halong Bay with them and could leave my big backpack at the hotel, and when I came back they gave me the same room again. :-) Unfortunately I had to change my flight and had to leave one night earlier, but they gave me the money back for that last night without any problems. I would definitely stay there again!

Cons:

Nearly everything was good, only they could not make the TV work, though they tried (and I joked with them that I would mention that in the review ;-) ).

Well located in a quiet street in old quarter

OK, but we paid too much for the overall low standard. Staff very friendly.
Pros:

Staff at the reception during the day is extremely friendly and helpful. Ha Chu is doing a great job.
The guy sitting on the desk in the night time unfortunately does not understand a single word of english.
Location very central and quiet.

Cons:

The hotel has had its good times probably decades ago. Don‘t be fooled by the good ratings on booking and google. They are mostly because the staffs comission depend on good ratings. Which has an effect on the friendliness but not so much on the cleanliness and the overall state of the rooms. Everything is pretty worn down. If you pay very little money you might find the value for money ok.

Amazing staff, amazing location, stay was ok, good value for money

Cons:

The hostel dorm - the toilet is in the dorm and the doors are not completely closed. I would rather book a private room. I would not book the hostel room again.
