I enjoyed my stay with peace of mind and felt safe all throughout my stay.
Pros:

Breakfast is ok. However when you stay longer than a week, breakfast becomes monotonous or repeatitive. Of course, there's nothing you can do, it's free. Just be content with what is offered, that's the game.

Cons:

Relatively speaking, I have no complain.

First room the air conditioner wasn’t working, so they upgraded us and gave us a better room with working AC, but only 1 bed

My goto hotel in Manila as I transit to other islands.
Pros:

Good location. Good value for money.

Cons:

Very poor (if any) wifi in the room, don’t expect to work online in your room.
Don’t arrive late for breakfast - there will be slim pickings.
After you enter your assigned room, you need to request for the bed to be made up as, for some bizarre reason, this is not done as standard.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal; auf Rückfragen und Mängel wurde immer reagiert und eine Lösung gesucht; gutes, kostengünstiges Restaurant;

Cons:

Es ist sehr schade, dass im Hotel keine Bett-Leinen verwendet werden. Die abgegebenen Wolldecken kommen etwas schmudelig daher und erscheinen unhygienisch. An einem Abend (ca. 18.30 Uhr) wurde ich vor dem Hotel von einem Jugendlichen um Geld gebeten. Als ich ablehnte, versuchte er in meine linke Hosentasche zu greifen. So eine Dreistigkeit ist mir bis anhin in Manila noch nie passiert.

Shabby but central
Pros:

The location is good in the middle of Ermita. The lobby is nice and the staff very helpful. The breakfast is fine.

Cons:

I booked a superior double room. The room I got (room 415) was small. I can’t imagine what the regular rooms are like. The room was shabby and not very clean. The WiFi was useless in both the room and the lobby.
