The room was very nice, clean and spacious. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed
The spa facilities were not as relaxing as I had hoped for. It may have been bad timing but the pool was full of children splashing and screaming and adults bombing into the pool. The steam room had no steam in it and the changing rooms were quite dirty with wet towels all over the floor.
It was very tidy the staff was very kind and welcoming loved the welcome cookies!
The restaurant was not open due to not being a busy time of year which was disappointing
Locations was key for what we wanted with safe & secure parking, at a charge. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cookies were delicious & a nice touch.
Bed was quite uncomfortable / springy
I love everything from the facilities to the food was excellent.
Nothing
We always have the best stay here - excellent service, super friendly staff. Very clean. The shower in the room is amazing!! Beautiful rooms, comfy beds. Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you so much
everything. . amazing clean cozy room... asastacia at reception was lovelly& really helpfull.....look forward to staying again
nothing..all was good....
Check in was excellent. The receptionist was warm, polite, and genuinely welcoming, which was especially appreciated after a long drive from central London. The complimentary room upgrade was a nice surprise, and the welcome cookies were a thoughtful and much enjoyed touch.
The spa facilities were the main reason for my visit and were a highlight of the stay. I also enjoyed the unlimited breakfast and dinner options; the food was fresh, well prepared, and good quality.
The restaurant and bar staff were outstanding. They were friendly, attentive, and took the time to engage in conversation, which made the experience feel relaxed and welcoming.
The room was better than expected but very cold on arrival and I had to request a heater. The bed was rock hard and extremely uncomfortable, resulting in very poor sleep. The phone in the room was filthy and clearly had not been cleaned.
The bathroom looked nice, however the shower leaked every time it was used, flooding the floor and creating a slip hazard. I had to use my towel to mop up the water as the small floor mat was completely inadequate.
There was no bottled water in my room, despite it being provided in other rooms. At breakfast, there was no peppermint tea available and the hot chocolate from the machine was very poor.
The spa facilities were disappointing and poorly supervised. Guests were jumping and diving in the pool without staff intervention, creating a safety risk. The steam room smelled, benches felt slimy, and the showers and changing areas were not properly cleaned or private. I also felt the breaks between the hydro and hot tub cycles were too long.
The restaurant food was extremely expensive for what was offered. Paying £27 for fish and chips with onion rings felt excessive and poor value for money.
I was very disappointed to be charged over £10 for parking after already paying over £120 for a one night stay. Charging paying guests for parking at this price point feels like a rip off.
Overall, the facilities need better cleaning, supervision, and better value for money.
I like the customer service, staff was very nice and helpful. The food at the bar and the morning breakfast were amazing.
The swimming pool was filthy, water strongly smelled as bleach but the walls of the swimming pool were so dirty as I never sawed in my life. Disgusting considering we booked this hotel exactly for the indoor swimming pool facility.
The dressing gowns didn’t seem washed, they smelt a bit.
