The environment and the service was good.

Cons:

What i didnt like is that the bathroom door does not have a lock when using the toilet or having a shower. My teenage kids and i was not happy about it thue to privacy.

Pros:

Overall, this stay did not meet the standards we would expect from a Hilton hotel and was certainly not the relaxing bre
Cons:

It was unfortunately far from the relaxing experience we had longed for and expected.

Upon arrival, we discovered that some of the electrics in our room were not working correctly. We then had to wait approximately 30 minutes before being moved to another room, which was inconvenient and frustrating after travelling.

One of the main reasons for booking the hotel was to use the leisure facilities, however we were unable to use the swimming pool until 7pm because it had been booked out for most of the afternoon. When we were finally able to access the pool area, we found it to be dirty and poorly maintained. In addition, the shower temperatures in the pool area were far too hot for children, which raised safety concerns. There were also swimming lessons taking place on the Saturday morning, which meant only 50% of the pool was available for guests to use and further limited our enjoyment of the facilities.

The overall atmosphere in the hotel was also extremely disruptive due to the large football tournament groups staying at the hotel. There appeared to be hundreds of children running through the hallways and lobby areas, shouting and knocking on guest room doors during the evening. This made it impossible to relax and significantly impacted our stay.

We were also disappointed that we could not dine in the main restaurant because it had been reserved for the football groups’ buffet. We were instead told to eat in the bar area, which was cramped, excessively hot and very noisy. To make matters worse, the pizza we ordered was frankly disgusting and largely inedible. Breakfast was equally unpleasant, as the buffet restaurant was again overcrowded with noisy football groups, creating a stressful rather than enjoyable environment.

Finally, with only one lift working throughout our stay, moving around the hotel was extremely inconvenient given the number of guests staying.
